Yes, that's in my link. But it's not 150 across the board. The high end Samsungs are closing in the 100 ms mark and most of the big name phones are less than 150 as well. The iphone 5 is 55 ms.

Thats only a best case scenario in that dedicated response testing app which they used which does nothing else. In any complex app the latency increases to 300ms and above. iOS maintains low latency even in complex apps.

You should turn off animation delays from the developers menu. You may access it by touching the firmware number 7? times and going back one level. Note 3 has Super fast scrolling after that .

Animation has nothing to do with input lag. Disabling it will just make your phone look like some jerky Symbian device from 10 years ago.

Every time I lower the animation delay, it just makes the stutter more consistent throughout the UI versus random as it is out of the box. Hardly a "fix" for the issues.

There is very little lag with the Note 3 but compared to the iPhone there is still scroll choppiness. I'm anal about UI smoothness and the Note 3 is much better than I thought it would be but it is still no WP8 or IOS. Having said that, there are certain apps and Samsung optimized control settings that are very smooth. Application Manager and the Audible app come to mind. I'm thinking that it is poorly coded apps that is the main problem. Using darker theme seems to hide the effects of the choppiness.
