Does the Supcase offer heavy duty drop protection?

So currently I got the Otterbox Defender, Two Artech21 rugged cases, Supcase, and Speck Candyshell and Poetic Revolution which I know is the best but VERY bulky.

I'm using the Artech which I think is at least as good as the Defender but I don't like the built in screen protector and my other one I ripped it out but it lifted my tempered glass up and ruined it.

I'm thinking about going back to the Supcase but it being kinda thin always concerns me even though on amazon and youtube compare this to the Defender for protection.

Would you trust the Unicorn Beetle/Supcase for drop protection? A few on Amazon said their phones broke when they dropped it with the supcase.

I owned the Unicorn Beatle series for my Nexus the whole time I had it. By far I was overall surprised by the amount of protection it did have. I even once kicked the phone across a parking lot......long story how that happened but the phone didn't have a single issue or scratch and the screen stayed in perfect condition because of the raised bezel

Today I'm using my Poetic case. I love the case except it doesn't allow wireless charging and the spen cover is hard to use and get the pen out but I rarely use the pen anyways.
The built in screen protector is great on the revolution compared to the junk otterbox uses.

I have two Artechs. One I tore the built in protector out. If I use that one would it be okay with a naked screen? Do these screens scratch easily?
