Does whatsapp plus allow backing up the messages on google drive

If I install the Whatsapp plus, can I get my messages, which have been backed up on google drive from normal Whatsapp on whatsapp plus?

Similarly, can the new messages be backedup on the drive?

Whatsap backs up chats on its own cloud if you enable that function.

Open whatsap... Tap the three dots in top right corner... Tap settings... Chats.. Chat backup....

I can't find the Google Drive backup option in WA+. Any help?
