Disaster struck last night when my dog decided to jump into my bed. He landed on the tablet destroying the screen. I'm not mad at him since I didn't put the tablet on my stand. So just keep this in mind if you got a dog that is spoiled and like to sleep in bed with you. Now to see how good my samsung device care program really is.

Sorry hear that, but always need to be careful around pets with your gadgets.

Good advice for any tablet, I've seen iPads broken by dogs stepping on them in the past.

It's a good idea to be careful with any electronic devices around pets. Cats also have been known to knock over things. Both dogs and cats sometimes like to chew cords and cables.

A dogs paws can deliver a lot of pressure. It's unfortunate, but I can definitely see it being enough to crack a tablet or phone screen if a dog were to land on it the right (wrong?) way.

I have a german sheppard and he would do the same thing if I wasn't careful sorry for your loss.

Boxed up and gone back to the tablet farm for fixing. Happy to have bought the protection up front. Should have it back soon.

I'll add that even though one may have taught pets or kids not to do something, they don't always listen. Then again, neither do adults. ;)

I sat mine on the couch awhile back and the dog walked on it and cracked the screen. Not a major crack. Just a thin line you have to really look at to see in one corner. Just enough to kill any future trade-in possibilities. LOL

If you have magnetic cover like I do make sure that there isn't any bolts or nuts stuck to it thats how the corner of my screen got busted
