Don't buy Verizon Screen Protectors

It is a display protector, not a front of phone protector. It covers the amoled display...the screen affects the phones functionality...that's what needs a protector which I assume is why they are cut that way. Many other companies cut them the same. If and when otterbox releases some they will prob cover the whole front the phone however.

I have so many screen protectors from different gadgets, I'll go thru them to see what fits. The iPod protector fit the Omnia perfectly with the circular cutout right over the trackpad, so I'm sure some jerry-rigged solution will work with the Incredible too. Why spend $8 on more sticky plastic sheets when there are still a few left from the Cassiopeia, BB Storm & Voyager, haha.

i see one person says they only cover part of the phone and now i see some one saying it fit perfectly. all i got to say is im at the office now waiting on mine to come in, if it comes with that half a screen protector im going to be pissed!

I just ordered one from someone one ebay. It ships from Hong Kong, so it won't get here for about 2 weeks.

Skinomi is all I use and have already ordered mine for the Incredible. Not the chintzy peel-and-stick kind that get bubbles and where the edges roll up. It's a great product. (No, I don't work for them...just a 3-time customer...wait, bought them for the kids' iPod Touch units, too. OK, many times customer.) Skinomi TechSkin - Gadget and Cell Phone Screen Protectors, Skins, Cases, Shields, Covers

Kewl!! I just ordered two. I found a 25% off and free shipping coupon code. GET25. I've been waiting for BSE to get the Incredible skin in stock, but if you snooze you lose.

Thanks for the heads up! :)

Also just got one of these after reading lots of 5 star reviews for their Moto Droid screen protector on Amazon.

$10 and free shipping from Amazon.

how easy are these to put on? the whole liquid application thing makes me nervous I might put to much and ruin my phone

How does it compare to ZAGG?

I had ZAGG and everyone said it was "the best" then too and the adhesive failed soon after. The orange peel texture made the screen look like junk too.

I just bought a Zagg screen protector yesterday and I'm not happy with the orange peel texture either. I read somewhere that it goes away after a few days, and it does seem a lot better today than it did yesterday, but honestly I like the smooth ones I get from Verizon. It isn't like I need a military grade cover. I just need something to protect against stuff in my pocket scratching the screen. I'll give the Zagg another day or two and see if it smooths out any more.

I bought some from Verizon yesterday and they do exactly what they're supposed to do, cover the screen, that's why they are screen protectors not phone protectors

yeah i'm pretty happy with the verizon ones. they protect everything that needs protecting. coming from the storm 1, the buttons were never protected either, and they made it out unscathed.

The VZW's cover the entire screen, they do not cover the entire face, but they cover the screen. Certainly a useful item until my Boxwave's get here ;-)

I also bought the VZW's screen protector and was disappointed. At the very least it could have covered the home, menu, back, and search buttons. When I got home I decided to check the screen protectors that I had left from my Storm and they were the same. I am sure they just repackaged the same covers as "good enough". I will be returning them and have purchased skinomi instead. Just installed last night and it looks OK, but still some micro bubbles can be seen. Instructions say it could take several days for them to disappear so time will tell.

I may have to take a look at hose bigslam, thanks for the tip. As for the verizon ones, I bought them and they work fine for me, but i specifically only have my phone in whatever pocket it is in. The protectors are really just there in case I forget and put my key in that pocket for a minute. Thats just me though..

I just had the ZAGG screen cover installed at best buy. Man this thing seems very durable! Only thing I'm not liking so much is the resistiveness it adds to the touch display. Does anyone with ZAGG protector experience know if this thing gets smoother with age?
