Don't know if this had happened to you or not?

Phones been in my pocket all day..airplane mode. Used it for the 40 mins or so and never got on the internet...so odd.

Weird. What happens if you force-close Chrome. Does it appear as a battery-user later on?

Did you have Chrome running before you put it in your pocket?

Since Chrome is by Google, maybe it does something more than a browser. Can you remove Chrome and use another browser (e.g. Dolphin)?
