Download wont stop... help!

So I was downloading a mp3 from music downloader.... well I started to dl from a source but it is going so sloowwww. Its been almost 3 hours and its only at 60 % how can I stop it? I went to the downloads menu from the browser... I stoped the program from running tasks... I can't clear it from the notification bar because its not completed... any idea how to stop it?
