Downloaded Ringtones

I just bought an LG AS740 (Axis -- is that the same as the Ally?) and cannot seem to find the ringtones on the SD card.

*I reformatted the SD card
*I can see the file on the card when from my computer
*Card is mounted (and has been unmounted and remounted)

Frustrating cause I have various ringtones for key people (including my eldery father).

Any help would be appreciated.

Have u looked in a file called "music" some andriod apps dont see a difference in ringtone and music and lumps them all together

YOU ROCK! The files are under music. However, when I want to set a ringtone, it doesn't allow me to use those files.

<sigh>

HEY HEY HEY... you choose that "music" file, then select the Use as phone ringtone.
