I haven't seen anyone post this info yet, so if it is in another post, forgive this. I looked over the Motorola Bionic Flash file on Moto's Facebook page. It looks like it's revealing a new piece of info each day. So, went digging and found an xml file that drives it. Nothing new, but now you don't have to check it every day.
Marketers really need to learn how to hide things.

Here's the big reveals:
-1GB of RAM—twice the RAM of many smartphones—gives DROID BIONIC by Motorola a fast user interface and strong multi-tasking capabilities
-DROID BIONIC by Motorola will feature the latest Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread operating system
-Your inner filmmaker is covered—DROID BIONIC by Motorola features 1080p HD video capture capabilities
-The MOTOPRINT app (found on DROID BIONIC by Motorola) takes dusty cables and IT guys out of the equation, letting you print directly via Wi-Fi to networked printers
-DROID BIONIC by Motorola will have plenty of memory for all your storage needs, with 16GB of on-board memory and a 16GB microSD card preinstalled
-The webtop application lets you extend your DROID BIONIC by Motorola into something beyond the average smartphone with a full Firefox? browser, full keyboard and more—all on an external screen

My FAQ that is stickied covers those minus the firefox browser but the attached spec sheet I have in there covers that part With everything releasing the past few days I have been keeping up and updating as much as I can that FAQ I started for AC.

My FAQ that is stickied covers those minus the firefox browser but the attached spec sheet I have in there covers that part With everything releasing the past few days I have been keeping up and updating as much as I can that FAQ I started for AC.

Saw those specs in the FAQ and they aren't really anything new, but I didn't see any reference to the Facebook Flash file reveals so put them out there.
I'm spending too much time looking at this stuff. LOL

You and me both. I think my wife will be happy once I get this phone so I won't be soo glued to my F5 button. As for the Facebook I thought I saw that in the graphics I posted from VZW equipment specs. Meh **Shrugs** lol

You and me both. I think my wife will be happy once I get this phone so I won't be soo glued to my F5 button.

My other half doesn't care so much as long as it isn't constant. The knowledge that hand-me-down phones happen quick with me makes it much more tolerable.

Read a blog post on another tech site that Verizon is now denying that the 8th is the "official date". The reviewers blog was updated just recently. "Update, 10:24 a.m., PT: Verizon Wireless is saying that September 8 is not an official date for the Droid Bionic's release. We'll have more details when we get them." That's old and was in response to the @DroidBionic twitter account which they outed as fake.

I believe they were saying that because that twitter account was a fake. Besides, that was on 8/29

Hmmm, then why would Verizon play a commercial on ESPN last night during the Badgers game that showed the Bionic as coming 9-8-2011? Old news like the previous post said about it being in reference to the bogus twitter account.

Just saw the commercial again and at the end it says 9-8-11 so it will be out that day.

Its definitely 9/8. I talked to an associate from my local Verizon store and he called me to inform me that it will be releasing 9/8 and will be setting one aside for me for that Thursday morning.

Yeah my buddy told me last night he will be working that morning of release so one will be set aside for me and I have an appointment on the books with him the moment the store opens. He gets all of my commission for the phone and all the accessories.

Well ask this...how fast did it take for the Droid 3 to be backordered? If I went and bought the phone it'd be after 3pm, when I get out of school because I need my parents' Costco card to buy it lol. I doubt (even though I DO have time on thursday mornings) that my mom would drive out to Costco to buy me a phone at 8am, or during my lunch break at 11am. And I'm seriously doubting her desire to buy me a phone when I get home from school either...I'll probably just ask her to meet me at Costco so I don't waste gas.

Do you guys think it's going to sell out on Thursday? I don't know when I'm going to be able to go in to get it (either from VZW or Costco) and I want to know how much I need to rearrange my schedule.

I will probably be there an hour early. I just talked to him tonight and he will have a bionic and an accessory he swore me to secrecy not to mention its name until release day ready to go when the doors open (only because no one knows it exists yet except for VZW and its manufacturer and if it weren't for the fact he is doing me a favor in lieu of a birthday present I would divulge what it is). I am still deciding about the lapdock but will at least snag an HD dock and a spare battery.

you have to think though they only get soo many phones in for the first shipment so I wouldn't chance showing up that night if you want one release day.

Edit- the more I think about it the more apt I may be at getting lapdock if it doesn't require an additional feature fee and it will save me from lugging my 17" laptop to work everyday since I would be able to zumo remote into it at home and access my 2TB external HDD that is hardline USB attached to my new wireless N router I just bought last weekend.. oh crap the possibilities for this phone just jumped for me 2 fold. Not to mention my 25% military discount on accessories will take the pain away a little from the price.

I'm going to replace lugging my laptop to school to get specific work done on it. My school banned cell phone use though, even smartphones, which makes no sense to me. I'm planning on taking all my notes into a Google Doc in the future, on my smartphone...and they allow iPads though. I haven't seen anyone with Android tablets, but I would just give it a guess that some teachers are skeptical about them because they're "not iPads." But yeah, this thing has pretty much everything I can do with my computer in a smaller package. Only thing I'll need my laptop for is video editing, which is what I mainly got it for anyways.

Thursday morning (probably before i leave for the VZW store for my appt) I will be able to post what it is so he doesn't get in trouble unless between now and then he gives me the thumbs up to do so. But it is a must in my mind to have, its not ground breaking by any stretch so don't get your hopes up too high its something amazing but its something i need.
