Just out of curiosity, where were things before they shut down your source? Were they moving forward with 22?

That we are. I can't tell you how pissed I am. The few people who knew about the site knew NOT to post it publicly as it would be shut down if they saw any links to it. Surprise of all surprises, someone plastered it all over a bunch of posts and it's now been shut down. So those of us who've gone through *GREAT* lengths to keep it hidden are now screwed thanks to a fame whore who was so proud of himself for "finding" it. Moron.

Yea, but, it was still WAY early into testing. No way to tell how successful the build will be from that early a state. And now that they stopped publishing to it, well, I have no way of knowing how the build is going. I guess we wait and see what happens around the 14th or the 21st to see if any soak emails go out. If not, well, I won't be able to tell you what's next because I have no access to it. I've been using that site for MONTHS to keep track of things and we've kept it a closely guarded secret in all that time so as not to piss off Moto.
I'm so freaking mad.

There are many names I can think of to call this person, most of them can't be posted to forums. So I'll just start calling them "short stack". I hope whoever it was gets a double helping of come-up-in's. Cause they deserve it.

No. We got the posts removed from the site he posted them on, but, the damage was already done because they didn't act fast enough. Moto regularly searches for links to it and takes it down if they find any. The mods of that site didn't remove the posts quick enough, and Moto took down the site. Game over. The end. It could come back some day but I wouldn't bet on it. Certainly not in the Bionic JB release window.
I'm guessing it's not someone from this site, or at least not because of the info that Sam's been giving us. He never posted his source or the address. So, it's not from his posts. It was some A hole who got a hold of it in another way.

Yea, that's correct. He was posting information about a phone he'd never seen. Well, in so doing, he published the link to the site that some of us kept closely guarded that allowed us to monitor Motorola's build progress. That's how I could tell you all the build numbers (which were correct, btw 
) and where things were in the testing cycle. Now we're blind and have to wait until things hit soak before we know anything. I've been monitoring that site quietly for months and only posting small pieces from it. Moto was content with that. But having the site link leaked....not so much. Oh well. Not much I can do about it now.

I know it can't be anywhere near "your" frustration, but this really makes me angry. You've worked so hard to glean info while protecting what you knew (and we trusted and understood) was private details. Why can't people leave it at that. Uggggh.
Let's hope all moves forward in this next month. I'm just afraid if 22 doesn't pass, then we'll "really" be in the dark about whether they're moving forward or not. I saw a post on Google+ from Punit Soni that the 18 month window, albeit EOL, wouldn't be a hard/fast closing for (as he had committed) Bionic getting JB. Hopefully he'll stand by that!

Considering we're already past that window of EOL, yes, he will. But will they accept another failed build? I honestly don't know. If 22 gets almost to the end of testing and doesn't pass, or VZW rejects it again, will they make another attempt? Again, don't know. And won't be able to tell, either. We had such a great balance going. A few trusted people were able to pass along pertinent but not detailed information about the status of some builds, and Moto didn't have to worry about it getting out of control. Now it's completely ruined. ARGH.
My view it actually showed Moto's efforts to get a functional build out there. The "leaks" were generally positive for Moto from my view (they helped me realize what they had to deal with).
