If there weren't idiots life wouldn't be difficult.
I really wish there was a way to have a locked forum where you could only invite people to join. I know are are plenty of guys here who can follow directions.

I'm already on one. When I moved from DF I became a mod in our new hang out and we have a lot of control over who gets to see what. That's why I only post a small portion of what we discuss over there cause stupid people like to take it and either post it on the Moto forum (really how freaking stupid can you be to do that) or news sites grab it. I don't know how many times I've said that what I post is to be considered rumor and speculation unless I say otherwise. But people go posting things I say as fact. ARGH.

Since the excitement has slowed down a little, what do you think of Verizon extending the upgrade time frame, and the rumors of them bringing a phone pay plan to the table? Do you think it might lead to more "freedom" with our phones? Of just another way to get more money out of us?

Yea I really have no idea what moto and vzw are up to anymore. I was hoping to have the weekend to take a look at the update but that doesn't seem likely now.

In all honestly, does it really make a difference? I get that, in theory, the soak gives them a chance to only screw up a comparatively small percentage of users' phones if something goes wrong...but how often has something gone wrong?

I won't be getting the OTA update, anyway, so I guess I don't have anything to worry about
