SamuriHL, if there is a chance that 21 will fail the test, and since 22 us ready for testing, what are the chances and feasibility of testing both simultaneously so as to potentially shorten the time to release? Not sure if this is feasible in any way.

22 is not ready. Else they'd be testing it. I was mistaken earlier when I said they'd finished with 21. They took....an extended break. I think I know why they're doing it this way. It's just going to take longer for us to get the build. I'd be highly surprised if we get it before the end of April at the earliest. Stranger things have happened. I mean, if they get 21 to pass they could have that out mid-April or so. I find that unlikely.

Question: you speak pretty confidently that we are gonna like build 22, but speak ill of 21; what about it makes it better when according to your own info they haven't even tested it yet?

If we get build 21, it'll include a VZW mandated crappy feature. If we get build 22, it won't.

Have I not said there's many things going on that I can't discuss? That'd be one of them. But suffice it to say if 21 fails, that piece of crapware is getting pulled out.

Doesn't matter to me. Once this build does come out, I will root and install a custom ROM.

I just took a look at the testing on 21. They REALLY need to just kill it and be done with it. Build 22 HAS to be better than this.

I take it you don't know where our root exploits come from. It's not a guarantee at all. Not even close. All the Moto exploits come from ONE guy. Dan R. If he decides to not bother looking for one or if Moto locks it down very tight, it could be weeks or months before we get a root exploit. Ask the Atrix HD people how that goes. It was like 6 months before they got root. In the past we've been able to use the RAZR root exploit. We'll see if that holds true for JB. If not, we may be waiting a while til Dan R gets bored and finds us an exploit.
