Droid eris not available in stores on the 6th

i was at best buy today and was told that they have not received any word on the eris. i was told that they do have the droid in stock already but didnt have any knowledge on the eris. He also told me that he didnt see how they would have the eris for sale on friday unless they showed up very soon. Take it for whats its worth

I know the Verizon stores will have them. Mine has 94 units in stock of both Moto Droid and Eris (they were not sure what the ratio was)

interesting i hope best buy gets their act together and gets the eris. i pre ordered the droid but would want to give the eris a try to save 100 bucks

Best Buy and other indirect dealers may or may not have it. They come second when it comes to getting stock in stores. All corp stores will have them.

you know i just wish verizon would announce the damn phone at this point. im starting to think they arnt going to and it will just be there friday

It SHOULD be announced tomorrow, most corporate stores already have them but shouldnt talk about them until it has been officially announced.

I hope they don't make too much noise about the Eris initially--I don't want them to run out before I get there tomorrow night!
