Droid Incredible Shipping?

i wish i had overnight shipping! then i woulda had it tomorrow!! but i guess monday will suffice... at least it shipped!!
I apologize again for the long message. The questions were posed to the VZ rep. Would be nice to get an answer, but in reality are rhetorical as I did not really expect them to provide answers. Maybe I just felt better to make the call and ask.
Purchased in store. 6/12 was a Saturday, so I always assumed the real order process date was Monday 6/14. Did not specifically request next-day shipping, but the order rep may have specified as I also upgraded a phone for one of my sons, and also got my wife an LG Ally at same time so we did spend some time and money with the rep and had a great experience that day as the rep spent a lot of extra time setting up my wife's phone with several apps and tips. Still, adds to my suspicion about VZ fire-fighting calls from existing customers with the coincidence of receiving next-day ship notification an hour after my call - will never really know.

I'm hoping that with the Moto X coming out soon that those in line ahead of me opted to get out of line and switch. Although, after following this thread I really did not get that sense.
Everyone on here seems really passionate about their Incredible, even though they don't have it yet.

Ordered my DINC online on 6/10...got email about shipment yesterday 7/7 & it says I will get mine tomorrow on 7/9...whew...it is about time...lol
Well, I just got the shipping notification!
Unfortunantly, they didn't bump me up to overnight shipping from 2 day, so the expected arrival is still 7/12

Est. Delivery on: 7/12
Its shipping from Memphis to Minnesota.
I'm really bummed out I have to wait the weekend to get it.
Does any one know if I could pick it up at a FedEx location on Saturday or Sunday?

You might be able to, best bet is to call your local FedEx location and ask. If you can't get a number from them then call FedEx 800 number and ask. They should be able to set something up for you.

SOOO, I've been calling 611 about every 30 minutes today waiting to see if I heard the magic message. My boss thought I was a nut.
Anyway, I heard it FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! I got my tracking number and it will be here on Monday! I'm going to wish my weekend away over this stupid phone.

I think FedX has to make 1 attempt to deliver the package before you could try and pick it up from them .You can call to double check but again I dont think you will be able to without them trying first.

I missed their smart ass comment ,lolOnly if you call a Verizon CSR and have them "release" it from FedEx. Otherwise FedEx will NOT give it to you.

haha i was calling about every 2-3 hours waiting for the magic message!! bc i ordered in store so i knew i wouldnt get an email... and i didnt believe that theyd remember to text me when it shipped (they didnt! lol) so i was sooooo happy when i finally heard it!!
so i have been stalking fedex website... my phone was picked up in westchester, PA... and now has left the fedex facility in coatsville, PA... just mapquested that place to my house and its only 2 hrs and 10 mins away! is it REALLY going to take til monday to get here? what r the chances of it getting here early?? like tomorrow??

I feel your pain. The new interstate from Memphis to Birmingham is seven miles from my house. I imagine my Incredible will zoom by later tonight.

same here!! The fedex facility is only 2 hours 45 minutes away. We should have it Saturday. I mean seriously. I can't wait anymore
ugh me either!! im sick of waiting!! i guess i should be grateful that it shipped 2 days early... it wasnt supposed 2 ship til monday, and it shipped today... but seriously... id be more than willing to go pick it up myself!
