Droid Incredible Shipping?

i called fedex and they said i cant pick it up :-( oh well... whats another 2 days... monday it is!
thats my problem too. Can we call verizon and have them call fedex or something? We've waited a month, this is killing me
Phone delivered yesterday....definitely worth the wait! Finally I can retire my POS Storm, whose touch sensor was completely screwed up and had nearly every pixel covered with dust under the screen...
Unfortunately I haven't had too much time to play around with it, but even just using the basics (SMS and Email) is awesome!

ugh i know... i suppose i should be thankful it shipped early... which i am... but its gonna kill me all weekend not having it!! my storm is barely working... and im getting soooo impatient... i dont understand why we cant pick them up... it saves them a trip!
Yup, I with you on that...same order date as you...on-line order and quoted ship date of 7/19. This is the first thread I check when coming here every day.
Unlike most of you, I am coming from a BB Storm 1 and now Storm 2 and am happy with the phone, but want something more. I will keep the S2 until I can determine if the Dinc can do everything my BB can do and more. The one thing I give up is having an international phone that could be used while traveling outside the US. I hope the next generation of this phone addresses this.

Question for people who've received their phones - how long did it take from out of box to a charge battery and activating the phone?
It looks like I am going to get it the night before I leave for a vacation...like anyone else the waiting has me wanting to play with it even more. But, realistically not sure if that is the best idea.

Update: Phone has arrived and is charging!!! now just six hours of work left...

I've been following this thread for a while (the last 100 or so pages since I found you on Google) just to keep tabs on Verizon's shipping status. Of course, the wait was annoying, but thankfully I have a lot of other things to do which helped keep my mind off it. I started getting excited when I saw 6/14's start shipping and after a final call to VZW CSR today, he claimed I should have mine shipped by 5pm today or Monday.
Just got home from work, and half an hour ago at 4:28pm, I received this:
Thank you for placing your order with Verizon Wireless. We wanted you to know that your Verizon Wireless order was shipped.
Hooray! Thanks for all of the information from everyone posting their shipment dates. Definitely helped me estimate my ETA better than Verizon ever could. Actually, both times I called, they claimed their systems were giving them 404 (page not found) errors and couldn't tell me anything.
To continue the trend:
Ordered: 6/16 in NYC over the phone with CSR.
* I was never given any ETA or notices of delays or any notification whatsoever.
Finally shipped: 7/9 via FedEx 2-day from Memphis, TN.
Delivery: 7/13 by 7pm.
Now to find some accessories..

Finally got it today. In store ordered 6/10. Basically a month but well worth it. I'm coming from a Storm1 so it will take a bit to get used to. So far its frackin sweeet.

WOOHOO... Got my shipping notification today. Just saw it at 6:30PM but the email came at 1:30PM. Ordered 6/17 online with a ship by date of 7/15. It was picked up from West Chester, PA at 1:23PM and scheduled to be delivered Monday by 3PM.

Greetings All, I ordered in store on 6/16 in Albany, NY and my DInc was promised to ship by 7/14. Well my phone shipped today and I will have it monday. It's being shipped out of PA.
Sorry to all of you who ordered earlier and got skipped over, i'm not sure whats going on with that. Maybe certain warehouses in certain parts of the country are slower than others at getting orders out.

I feel bad for all you guys waiting, but I just ordered my second Incredible this morning from Amazon, and it was in stock and shipped this afternoon for Monday delivery. If any are still waiting or still considering ordering, keep your eyes on Amazon. As of this posting (6:31pm mountain) they are still showing in stock. They go fast, so if you want it, don't think too long.

I am so pissed at Verizon right now. I ordered in store in 6/11 and was told that I would have it no later than today. I had to date receive no communications from Verizon since the day I ordered. I talked to 3 separate people today, 2 of which promised to call me back with more information. And, no call backs. All the while being assured that I would receive the phone, probably on Monday or Tuesday
So I decided to stop by the store after work to get an answer, and it turns that someone from Verizon cancelled my order and credited my card back on June 15. Mind you, it was not me that cancelled the order (why would I??!!) How the eff does that happen without a customer's approval? And to top this off, there are no notes in the record as to WHY or WHO cancelled it, just that it had been cancelled.
I was told that my only option is to order the phone again and wait along with everyone else. No expedited delivery, nothing for my trouble, not jack ****. How's THAT for customer service? **** that. So I told her thanks, but not thanks, I'd take my business elsewhere.

I hear ya about the 8330. I've had mine over 2yrs now and its killing me as I cant even pull up this website without it crashing and requiring a batt pull
On the plus side, its good to see ppl who ordered as recently as 6/19 starting to get their shipment notices as it shows that they're really moving fast to fill backorders!
Is the DInc still shipping with the nice Amoled screens? I know there was talk that they would start doing LCD type screens.
