Anyone here a new verizon customer that ordered their phone in store? Did you receive any kind of shipping notification via email before you received your phone? I am "supposed" to get my phone today (ordered on 6/11 in Chicagoland), but so far I have heard nothing from verizon. Called the store, called CSR (who told me that I would probably have another 7 day delay), but no one can give me any concrete info because I am technically not in the system as a customer yet. According the person I talked to in store, I would only have gotten an email if the shipping was going to be delayed, but that doesn't really make sense, given other people's experiences here. Hate being in the dark, and am irritated that Verizon has had my $$ for pretty much a month and I am still stuck with my LG Vu and AT&T's crappy service. Not exactly the best impression to make on a new customer.
Anyone have a similar experience as an "almost but not quite yet" Verizon customer?
