Droid Incredible Shipping?

Don't forget some people claim not to have received their email with shipping notification...I'll cross my fingers for you

So in other words we're pretty much left in the dark till they finally ship it? Then we'll maybe get an email??

How lame can that get.


Crazy cause the Verizon rep I bought my Incredible from said their store had 5000 pending orders. And just last week they had a stock room full of Incredibles. This being a Verizon Experience store, so its much bigger then your standard Verizon wireless outlet.

Not sure how you got such a generous date quote. I ordered mine in-store on the morning of the 5th and was told I'd have it no later than the 25th. If I were you, I'd be expecting a delivery on the 22nd or 23rd...possibly the 24th.

I ordered mine online on June 5th, they quoted me June 25th as well for a ship date. I'm hoping we both receive before next weekend. If you ordered it June 4th, I agree you'll get it on the 23rd or 24th.

ordered in vz store: 5/30/2010 afternoon.
expect ship by date : 6/18


status: i should get it today 6/18, fedex mailed it yesterday 6/17. this one is shipping from Memphis, TN and i'm in TX so it looks like im getting overnight without paying extra. I also DID NOT get an email notification from verizon or fedex, had to call the store myself to see if there was a tracking order # yet.

I sent Verizon an e-mail asking for an update on my order and they replied with a very generic e-mail of their own, stating that my phone would ship by 6/22. I ordered my phone in store on 6/1.

Anyone getting shipping notices that ordered on 6/4 yet?
I ordered mine 5/27 but it didn't get process until 6/4 by our business rep. Apparently my rep couldn't place the order in the system on 5/27 b/c they were backordered/unavailable. However other post have 5/27 order dates! Hoping to get mine next week. At this rate, I may switch to the Droid 2 or DX.

The deal with emails, I believe, is that if you ordered online or over the phone you should receive a shipping confirmation email. If you ordered in a store, you'd have to call the store to see if the shipping info is available (as they are the ones who placed the order, its simply being shipped to your address). The store won't know until FedEx lets them know, so don't be calling a week in advance because they'll probably not know at that point. I'd say check in 3 days before your quoted ship date.

And for those wondering, it looks as though 5/30, 31, and 6/1 orders are being processed around this time. Remember that was a holiday weekend, so don't be surprised if your order is a day late or so based on that.

My estimate for receiving your phone next week:
6/1 - Today and Monday
6/2 - Monday and Tuesday
6/3 - Tuesday and Wednesday
6/4 - Wednesday and Thursday
6/5 - Thursday and Friday
6/6 - Friday and Monday

Remember also that some people have 2 day shipping and some have overnight. I have overnight via my store order (they upgraded me for free because of the wait). That does need to be considered when matching up your order with someone who placed on the same day.

If I'm not mistaken, I think we're in the 5/30-6/1 range right now. If yours was processed on the 4th, I'm betting it gets here next Wed/Thurs.

5000 pending Incredible orders for one store? Even if it is an "experience" store. Sounds like bull to me.

I'm hoping your prediction is accurate. All though, I ordered 6/1 over the phone and still have not received an e-mail. Really hoping at this point to to get one and it shows up today or Monday.

The email that I received said that the "shipping schedule for my area" was orders made on 6/4 would ship by 6/25. I placed my order 6/2 via phone and was told it would ship by 6/23. Apparently they have ship dates for certain areas.

I ordered in store on 5/31, pretty early in the day. Reading the thread on Android Forums, I've see a few 5/31s get shipping notifications. My estimated ship date was 6/17, which was yesterday. Hope I'll get my phone today, but it's unlikely.

Where are some of you getting these dates??? Since mid-last week (around the 9th) the dates on Verizon's website were already into July. Where did you get 6/30 from? There must be a lot of mis-information floating around at VZW.
