Droid Incredible Shipping?

They are a massive company, but they should really keep all of their customer-facing employees updated on the situation. Like JKett said, when us non-employees who are not 'in-the-loop' know more than someone that SHOULD have, at least, correct and up-to-date information there's a breakdown in communication. Even at the stores, if the managers took an active role and had a weekly meeting or memo to hand out, that would be better than an employee passing out obviously incorrect info.

I used to work VZW and I'm still friends with many of my former co-workers. They tell me the DINC shipping schedule is easily accessible and it's updated on a regular basis. It's unfortunate that a lot of customers are getting so many conflicting answers.
 
In their defense they have no info available until it ships. I'm 6/1 order and called today to check for a tracking #.

Her response, "I don't see that it has shipped. Let me check on the estimated date......Looks like it won't ship until the 22nd."

Umm, hun, what day is today?
I also ordered 6/1 and got a ship date of 6/22... Still no notice of shipment.
 
Called in today to find out what was going on with my order. The order was placed the 10th of this month and according to the rep, wont ship until the first week of July.
 
I hope you get it in time for your trip. It would definitely make the ride feel shorter. ;)

Unfortunately, if the 6/1's aren't getting notifications today, it'll take a miracle for any 6/6's to be shipped on Thursday in time for your Friday departure.

Keeping my fingers crossed, though. For your sake and mine.

I ordered 6/1 and it shipped out today from PA. I've seen a few other 6/1 orders ship but others haven't. It appears verizon isn't able to get them out as quickly as they were. Hopefully production picks up soon so others can get theirs

did not get fedex # until i called and asked for it, even though email was correct on account.

email today (6/21) stating that as my credit card was billed 6/4, my updated ship by date is now 6/25.

Last week my wife made fun of my obsession with our new phones. Now she has come to the dark side of asking me throughout the day if I've heard anything from verizon yet!!

Unexpected email today with FedEx tracking number!! Should arrive 6/23, but I am in central Maine so who knows!
 
Ordered 2 Incredibles in store (Western PA) on 6/3, and was promised that they would ship this week sometime. Called verizon, and the rep told me that all orders placed on 6/3 should ship no later than 6/24, with overnight Fed-Ex, so I should receive them by the 25th. Hope that is accurate, I can't survive another weekend without my new phone!
 
I'm also a 6/8 order and called csr yesterday and was given the same 6/29 date that I"ve been given since day 1
We can only hope

yeah i called in today and they still say 6/29. and i am hoping that holds true as i leave for vacation that weekend, would love to have it before i leave...

The problem here is that she said that my phone would be shipped on, or before, JULY NINTH!!!!!!! What the heck happened to 6/29???"

I ordered on the 9th and if I have to wait that long, I will be really ticked off!! I have an extended battery, case and screen protector at home just waiting on a phone >.<
 
I called the Verizon store where I bought my phone on 6/1, and the guy said in a very holier than thou voice, "The Incredible is on back order for 4-5 weeks, I'm not surprised you haven't gotten it yet. Call back if you haven't gotten it by the end of next week."

I don't think anyone has any clue what is going on.
 
I ordered mine on the 3rd with an estimated shipping date of the 24th. I hope this thing ships in the next couple days because I am moving halfway accross the country this weekend. :( It could be really rough if my Inc. gets left behind.

Ordered 6/9 here (in store). After hearing this, I am going to be calling up a CSR tomorrow and see what I get told. I didn't even think to ask the rep at the store today when I stopped in to see if they got any DIncs with their weekly shipment (of course not... Haven't had a best buy-withing 100 miles *kid you not*/Verizon store/Verizon 3rd party retailer with a DInc in stock for over a month now...). Big surprise there. If my date has been pushed back as well, there are going to be quite a few CSRs/Managers hearing from me. This phone better be give out free at this rate, as I read more and more about how much of a s#$% storm this is becoming, the more depressing/ridiculous it is becoming with how horribly Verizon is handling this.

....same here at about 8am that same day. I email vzw just last saturday and she acted it would still be in my hands No later then 7/1.I had charged to my vzw account and I see now they have already credited my account so they got their money.

I have remained calm ,, so far :p but it if they don't keep their promise I mite flip out :mad: , but I have been attending my anger managment classes regularly too ,lol so still calm , for now.

Dinc did not ship 6/22. Called VZW last night, they said there hasn't been activity on the order account since 6/9? What the hell does that mean?

He then went on to say that he would fill out an escalate form to expedite the order and would call me back today with good news, meaning that it was approved for shipping today. I have no idea what in the hell he is talking about, I just went with it because I don't know if he is being for real or just getting me off the phone. Anyway, that's were I am with this.

Really hoping at this point to have my phone before the weekend.
