Droid Incredible Shipping?

seriously verizon needs to get their **** together. i called yesterday and the rep said it should ship today my expected date but i am almost afraid to call and ask as everyone is getting their dates pushed back. i need this before the weekend!
 
Had to join just to post what I found today. Ordered in a Verizon store on 6/5. Called today and was told that my Incredible would not ship until 7/9. If I wanted to cancel, I would have to pay a $35 restocking fee for a phone I haven't even recieved.

On hold for a supervisor now....

FML, Are you serious. I was just about to call them, dude thats freaking ridiculous. I think I will anyway just to see if they tell me something completely different *which seems to be a very common theme in all of this*

"I ordered the Incredible for my wife for Mothers day. She loves it but will will not let me touch it fearing I may change some settings. I spoke to a CSR and found out that the phone I ordered on 6/7 will not be shipped until 7/5. I am in pain. I hope the Droid X is out by the because I may change my order."

I'm officially pissed.
 
Just called the store I ordered from again. He said there's not too much info to be found on their side unless a tracking number is populated. None for my order yet. He said it does look like that, as of right now, it will ship on the QUOTED ship date, which would be the 28th. He did say there's still a chance it could go out early so I should call back tomorrow afternoon or Friday to see if there's a tracking number.

Ok...Now the store supervisor tells me that my order (placed on 6/5) will be shipped no later than 6/26. It's on a Saturday but much better than the 7/9 date the customer service rep told me. It's the 21st century Verizon. Can we not send a memo to employees for some consistent info to your customers.

UGH! So which is it? This is getting really frustrating >.< Verizon is handling this very poorly :(

Just got off the phone the man actually sounded like he knew what he was talking about, he said that the phones were on schedual and that my order on the 5th should ship out by the 25th and that I would recieve a shipping confirmation email upon it's succesful shipping. he also said that there is a possibility that it could ship early and that I was listed as overnight shipping so heres to having it any day for you and me both JKett
 
Alright all you 6/2, 6/3, and 6/4 orders. I am waiting to hear from you guys about shipping updates today. If I am not mistaken they are all supposed to ship by the 24th (I know today is the 23rd so here is to hoping). I ordered 6/3 so if I hear something I will let everyone know.

An issue that seems to be that orders that were actually placed on a certain day (ie; 6/2 like me) the orders weren't actually processed until 2 days or so later, therefore pushing those shipping dates back 2 more days. I placed my order 6/2 when the ship date was 6/23, my order was not processed until 6/4 which has pushed my ship date back to 6/25.

Dinc did not ship 6/22. Called VZW last night, they said there hasn't been activity on the order account since 6/9? What the hell does that mean?

He then went on to say that he would fill out an escalate form to expedite the order and would call me back today with good news, meaning that it was approved for shipping today. I have no idea what in the hell he is talking about, I just went with it because I don't know if he is being for real or just getting me off the phone. Anyway, that's were I am with this.

Really hoping at this point to have my phone before the weekend.

I think u got the same rep I got, I was told i had no order pending and they would look into it and call me back. Well that was 3days ago still waiting on that call.

Thats why I think it is a good ideal ,if you are ordering off the website Before you complete your order let the Help chat open (confirm with them)and I think they process it right away(at least they did mine) got an immediate email so the day I ordered mine is the day it was processed.

However I think also that vzw isnt updating its website as often as should be making the ship by date not correct and people unaware that the shipping date showing is actually not correct .

3 weeks to ship. Deal with it or go to crappy AT&T.

:D HA my sister has AT&T and that's my favorite game, point out all the places I have service that she doesn't. once I get my Incredible I'll beat the crappy out of her crappy Iphone even worse than I do now with my old voyager.

I know I won't ever order over the phone again. When you order over the phone you get BUPKISS! No confirmation email, no order number, no way of tracking your order online and you only get an email that it was shipped if the CSR notes in on your account. The only record I have that my order was placed is that it was charged to my monthly bill that is due next week. I sent an email to CSR via the website and was told that you cannot track a phone order through the website, that is ridiculous. What was the point of offering me my upgrade 2 weeks early, I should have just waited and went to the store, I probably would already have it.

Unfortunately I see the same thing happening with the Droid X, I think there will be a mad rush to get it, so order it early. When the X comes out I will still be within my 30 days, so if the Dinc doesn't pan out for me, X, here I come!

But the X doesn't have the cap that the Incredible does: AMOLED screen. I believe the X has a normal LCD screen. So well see. Even if the X doesn't release be fore I get my Inc, I'll be within my 30 days as well. This whole experience has out me off of HTC in general.
