Droid Incredible Shipping?

ordered on 5/9, was told 5/29, got my phone today, no shipping info or notification at all, very happy now.

DAMNIT. I ordered 5/9 as well, and nothing.

Talked to CS yesterday, she mentioned something about weather in TX was delaying a shipment and that east coast was getting something, looks like you did..........

maybe that means tomorrow, without warning, maybe????????
 
Well I just got off the phone with CS, I was actually on there to have them ship my brother ANOTHER Storm1 because his had finally died and the refurb that arrived today refused to sync up to a computer via usb just like the old one.. Thank goodness for Backup Assistant.

While waiting on the phone I got to chatting with her and mentioned my Droid Incredible and she asked me when I had bought it and I told her online on the 11th, she let me know that I would be getting it somewhere between the 27th-29th and that all Incredibles ordered and shipped on/by the date on their website have been automatically upgraded to overnight/saturday shipping. She said they'd actually given them a sheet of dates and when they were to to shipped out. Soo.. 9-11 more days for me..

So.. yeah.. now I'm even MORE paranoid about leaving the house :( FedEx has amazingly awesome bad timing with me.. I could leave for 15 minutes and they'd manage to miss me, its happened before, I usually leave a note too.. but we're supposed to have thunderstorms here for the next week or so, they're surely not leaving the box on the porch, and I don't really have any neighbors. This phone/wait/fiasco is giving me hypertension lol

You're from Scranton, PA? I live only a few miles further to the south but I ordered mine on 5/14 and was told 6/1.. Hopefully I have the same success.

Also, I have been charged and the charge has officially posted on my account. Not happy about this as the item didn't even ship yet.
 
For all of you who are angry about getting charged shouldn't you have talked to VZW about what the procedure for the payment was?
 
Fedex Deliveries

I work for Fedex and if you leave a signed note on the first attempt or a note to leave with a neighbor we will do that. We also carry plastic bags or you can leave one or a rubbermaid container etc to put it in if you are exposed to the weather. Here's the best part, I just ordered mine yesterday and I cover the area I live in so I will be delivering to myself but it looks like the first week in June for me at the earliest.:cool:

Yes and no, we knew what to expect obviously you buy something they send it to you. Some of us, including myself, were told to expect the device within a few days. Obviously that wasn't the case, I'm not so worried about the money, but payment procedures are irrelevant in a case like mine.. shipping procedures should be looked at as well if that is how you're going to look at it. They were extremely prompt in removing money from my account *within hours*, its since been a week since and I haven't heard a word from them.

It seems like a different FedEx driver every time they come to my house. We have two doors and they ALWAYS go to the wrong one when I'm not home :(

What pje200 posted bothers me in this aspect though, yeah it'll be fine if I can get the driver to put it in a plastic bag or what have ya, but what if I don't get notification and it just 'magically' appears?
 
I deliver in Florida, just be proactive leave a note taped on both doors with instructions make sure you sign it.
 
We hate going back to the same stops, thats more stops we have to do a day, we like customers who are prepared and ready.
 
Customers freak out when I deliver their phones, almost as crazy as prescription drugs. What's the difference?
 
At least a dozen or so out of a 80 to 90 stop day. Some days are worse, you know when there are promotions etc.

I guess I'll just be sure to have some post-its on both doors at all times now til I get the phone lol..

I can understand hating going to a stop twice in one day, however that doesn't happen here, ever. It merely gets put off til the next day. As a matter of fact, they're much like Rx drugs :) I know I can't live without my phone!
 
Finally gave in and ordered one today at full retail price (I know I'm crazy). The rep in the store told me June 7th but said they are coming much earlier. He said one guy ordered his last week and got it a couple days later. I have my fingers crossed I'm ready to ditch my BB.
