Droid Incredible Shipping?

Ordered: 6/4
Promised ship by: 6/24

Just called CS and was told that my Inc order is "closed" in their system which indicates that it could have already shipped, although they could not locate a tracking #. The only confirmation that I was given is that it would ship no later than Fri 6/25.

So it appears shipping is not always a few days early as was previously hoped for in this thread. :-(

My ship date is 6/28. I'm trying to convince myself that it's not a big deal and my BB9700 can hold up for me until then.

Honestly - I'm ok with waiting under the assumption that we're going to get Froyo on the Inc by end of the month. That means I get my phone, upgrade and start loving life.

Where did you hear we were getting froyo by the end of the month?

If they had have they package picked up by FedX but FedX has not yet barcoded on it as they will when they have it out for their delievery trucks might be why its not showing up yet.Hopefully all's good on all orders its just a matter of a few days for Y'all.

Hey I used to look on this forum all the time thinking it would take forever to get this phone, went to best buy on Thursday to preorder it,came in this Saturday!! Two days haha !!!! Just wanted to tell anyone thinking about ordering from Verizon, defiantly order it from Best Buy if you can!! Sorry if there's any errors in my writing I'm posting from the Incredible lol.

I've had UPS ground items estimated for a 6 BD delivery arrive in 3 before, and have had some 2 day deliveries show up next day in some cases. UPS tracking seems to be a bit more 'complete' too, from the moment the package is picked up at the shipper til its at your door.

I can't seem to find it now but I thought I read a couple of times that it was going to be sent by end of month. Now that I look it seems to be "officially available" in second half of this year.

I can't stand FedEx. I've had overnight items take 2 weeks to get to my house. I even took time to print and fax them a google map and it still takes them at least 1 week to deliver overnight shipments.

I've finally resorted to calling them, getting on the phone with a manager, and explaining to them to stop sending it back and forth between their delivery centers, put it on a truck and deliver it!

The moment I find out mine is in the FedEx system I will start calling managers every couple hours until they find the thing and put it on the right truck. If not, I'll pick it up myself.

I hope so, but kind of doubt it. I have not yet received shipping info, but I do have next day delivery.

I ordered my droid on 6/5. I got overnight shipping also. What do you think my chances are of getting my phone by friday this week. My ship by date is 6/25(which is friday). Also have any of you seen any of the phones being delivered past the ship by date, because i haven't. But I know the phones are shipping closer and closer to the ship by dates.

I ordered mine on 6/2, when I placed the order the ship date they gave me was 6/23. I called CS this morning to get a status hoping that they would say "it has been shipped". Well he told me it is supposed to ship 6/25, which is 2 days later than what it was supposed to be. He said I would received it monday 6/28. I guess they aren't shipping any out early now. I am thinking about finding out to see if my local store has any in stock so I can cancel my phone order.

I am wondering if Verizon is scheduled to recieve a large shipment of phones shortly before that date, more so than they have been having. That would seem a logical reason why the date has stopped moving, until they use up that large order, the date will not move much.

I just got off the phone with a customer service rep and I was unfortunately told that my order placed on 6/10 which I was told would ship buy 6/30 has now been moved back to 7/8

Either that, or Samsung may be upgrading its production to speed up over the next month in order to meet the demand a lot quicker. Or iPhone sales could be cutting into Inc orders enough for Verizon to play a little catch-up. Could be one of many, or a combination.

Ah, really sorry to hear that. I ordered on 6/6, and if my ship date was also moved to 7/8, it'll be the deciding factor. I'll cancel my order and wait for a different phone.
