I just got a call back from the nice CSR lady to tell me that she just got an email about the 10 day delay, but it may or may not affect me. I know my luck...its going to affect me.

I'm in the same boat tara especially now seeing more and more 6/5 people getting shipping notifications just makes me sure i may not see the inc till X comes out.

Just got off the phone and the V-rep told me that a new memo has been issued and some customers may experience an additional 10 BUSINESS DAY delay in receiving their order. Awesome stuff.
He then went on to tell me all about the Droid X and how it is getting an upgrade later this year to 2.2! GigaHertz that is! He then informs me that the new 2.2GHz will be so much faster than the Droid Inc.
Does anyone at Verizon know anything?

2.2 ghz lols i guess he doesn't know what a processor is and an OS is.... both the inc and the X are getting 2.2 when it's released lol good job verizon.. way to know nothing about your products
6 6er online and waiting, waiting, waiting, also tired of the CS BS 199.00 lighter though. If only I could sell a product that I can't deliver. Oh ya and get paid up front while I'm at it.
FWIW, i was told my phone would be delayed 10 days, blah blah blah. I talked to a CSR last night. He simply stated the longest he's seen delays are 2 business days past the ship by date. It is on par with the boards here. I have a feeling you will get yours by the end of the day. I ordered online at 7am 6/5. The package is coming out of Memphis.

That would be cool, i do recall that my order wasn't placed until around 6pm 6/5 so technically you should be getting a shipping email before me and i should get one tonight or tomorrow at the latest. Will definetly post when i get my confirmation.

I have a funny feeling that mine is not going to be shipping tomorrow. I ordered it online on 6/9 and that date has been confirmed 3 times now but based upon the conversation here I am not feeling all that confident about it.
yea, it's just that I have heard that same story a million times before and I will believe it when Steve Jobs says it himself. I hate to be a buzz kill, but it's just hard to be optimistic about it *shrugs* Besides, I'm over the whole iPhone frenzy anyway, Android has a better OS, imho, that's all
According to this thread, we've only had one 6/7 ship so far. I don't believe any 6/6's have reported shipping. I'd think tomorrow would be the remainder of 6/5s and a bulk of 6/6s. Unless it's a rare exception, your order will probably ship Friday at the earliest.
