Droid Incredible Shipping?

Get this one, just got off the phone, they open 6 am. I ordered via internet 6/6, have got no tracking number or the pathetic gift card email. I told CS this, her response......um.......um........umm..... lets see, well yours should have shipped by 6/28. ( I reminded her of todays date) basically said that has come and gone with no shipping info. She says if you don't get it by 7 tonight call back and we will upgrade you to over night shipping. My question, wouldn't she have known if it at least shipped?
Oh By The Way I'm still selling The Picture Of The Bridge To Hawaii $399.00 with 100.00 rebate card you can only use in my store, ship date is 7/28 (Or some time after I use your money) for tracking info please go to www.Bridgetohawaii.com oopps guess my schedule is same as Verizons according to Bridge to hawaii.com

I also got the email with the $25-gift-certificate-useable-in-maybe-two-weeks. I don't know..I had mixed feelings about it at first but now I am pretty set that this was one of the better moves they could have made, considering the context of the problem.
To take a positive glance at it, if I find something useful to use the $25 on, that is a 25% return on my $100 investment for a short period of 1 month. I wonder if they would honor using the $25 toward the freaking phone bill?

What a Fail for CSR I was told yesterday that I was upgraded to 1 day shipping because of the delay even though that is what I was promised when I ordered, but my tracking number shows 2 day service WTF!! Yet again Verizon shats on me!! Looks like another call to Verizon after work

so it shipped and you're not part of the additional 5 - 15 day delay. I think I'd be happy the thing isin the mail.
Well I am happy that it is in the mail finally, but I am really tired of being lied to by this corporation. I was told when I ordered it would be shipped on June 23rd and delivered on June 24th, which is why I had it delivered to my work. According to my order and a supervisor that was never correct and it was always scheduled to be shipped on the 25th. All while they refuse to give me any compensation for their repeated screw ups. I told the guy on the phone that I was going to charge his company a late fee since that is what they do when we don't pay our bill on time. All I got was the we can give you some bonus minutes BS. After refusing that he put me on hold and came and said that he would upgrade me to free over night shipping. This took me by surprise since I was told I had overnight delivery when I ordered. And I told him well now your company has told me 6 lies. He promised me that he would upgrade it to overnight, but guess what it did not happen.
I understand where you are coming from especially if you have not gotten a shipping notice, but I am not going to roll over and just be happy that my phone is on the way. I am going to keep fighting them until they compensate me in some way. If we all just say "it was delayed, but now it is shipped no need to bother them" we are sending a message that it is ok for them to treat us this way. I would love to just switch providers after this, but I know their service is superior to any other around me and we get a company discount.

Sometimes FedEx delivers early so you still may get it today.
That would be nice, but it is coming from Ontario CA so I doubt I would get that lucky
I've got Android on the brain. I had a dream last night that I got a shipping conformation today and would have my phone tomorrow. Unfortunately, I don't think that's gonna happen.

Today makes it officially 19 days until I hopefully have my dinc in my hands. Grats everyone thats finally starting to get theirs. I really hope mine comes with no issues getting to me. I'm kind of on the fence with that though, with all the stories I'm hearing about. Does anyone know or have an opinion about whether the phones shipped the week of July 19th will still be AMOLEDs or the tft LCDs? Not that its a preference for one or the other, I'm just curious. Also, I
've just been following the the AMOLED debacle with Samsung, and find it ironic that we're still having to wait for phones already purchased, and they (Samsung) release brand new phones with the very screens needed for the phones we're waiting for. I almost want to hate on the Samsung devices, but I can't they're actually pretty tight. I still like my dinc better, but Android anything is good imo.
Patiently waiting(at least til the last couple days anyway

When did you order? 19 days left? I ordered 6/13 and am praying that the rep was right when he told me arrival 7/7.
did you just receive this email this morning? or late last night around midnight or before.

I ordered June 18th. The ship date on that day was July 16th, ETA July19-21. My 19 days left is really just reference to the week my nerves will on be edge if I'm in the group that gets delayed 7 days. I almost do not want to know. This would make it a month that I've been waiting for this phone. I unsuccessfully tried to buy one off ebay and was taken advantage of almost. Then Verizon decides to let me upgrade early after I almost lost 600 bucks on ebay. The only thing that made it worth waiting for was the discounted pricing. I was also told this eligibility for upgrade was in existence for 3mos and that someone had failed to update my account and make it available, which was annoying because it means I couldve ordered the dinc at launch for discount and already have it. But I digress. Getting angry and bitter isnt healthy. I just hope I dont get delayed any further. If I do, I'm not really sure if I'll stay with Verizon.

UPDATE: I had to call VZW this morning about another issue: I ordered on 6/8 original ship was 6/29...I am now delayed 10 Days...7/9 is now ship date. Wahooooo!
Same boat.. ordered over the phone on 6/10 and have been given receive date of 7/8 as well.. was really hoping that it would come at least a few days earlier.. does not look promising...

Thats what I was thinking and Looks like maybe is why the delay /and that email last night from vzw ,22 day wait
