Droid Incredible Shipping?

I canceled my incredible order (6/10 order) on the day the X was officially announced and today i received a shipping confirmation for my incredible. Why am I not surprised?

I ordered my Incredible on 6-04-10, shipped on 6-28-10, got it on 6-30-10. I've been reading this forum non stop during my wait and have been just like most of you really frustrated, but now that I got my Incredible all my frustrations went away,I could not be happier with my phone. Just hang in there a little longer guys your time will come.

Hey all...ordered in store on 6/11. Orig ship date 7/3 then 7/9 per CSR. Based on what I'm reading here mine will probably ship 7/6 who knows??? LOL and another post is correct it is a crap shoot....Good Luck all!!!

transfer contacts

Does anyone know if you can transfer contacts from a phone that is not powered on? My old phone died and the charger port is broken.. but i was wondering if when i get my droid they can transfer them anyway?!

Yes, FedEx does in fact deliver on Saturdays. Yes, FedEx will be working this Saturday. No, DIncs will not be delivered on Saturdays.
It's simple really. Verizon is not paying for Saturday delivery on DIncs (assuming because they are shipping so many at a time so often) like they do other shipments. Sorry, but Verizon just isn't paying for it for this phone.

I called Verizon to see if my phone can be delivered on Saturday so I don't have to wait until Tuesday. They said it has to go out the date that is on fedex and can't make it sooner. That is BS cause most of us had to wait after out original shipping day. I am glad that fedex it's like 20 mins away from my house and how I want it in my hands already

If it was not for the fact that it is a Saturday, there would in fact be a chance that you could have your phone sooner. It all comes down to when it gets to your station and if the courier has room/time to do it that day (day before actual due day that is). But seeing how it is a Saturday, that will not happen because Saturday delivery cost more and FedEx isn't going to loose money by giving someone free Saturday delivery... Sorry, but that's just business.

Lol, I think I'm going to end up keeping it now that it is in transit. Hopefully, I won't regret keeping it. I'll also go check out the X on release day.

Chances are when you take it into the Verizon store they will have an additional battery to place into your broken phone with enough juice in it to allow them to transfer the info from your old phone onto your new phone.
