Droid Incredible Shipping?

I'm a 6/13. Just got off the phone with Verizon. CSR said it would ship on the 12th, with delivery on the 13th. He said they were all shipping overnight. We will see. He also said he would send me a text msg with the tracking info. We'll see about that also.

I have to say, I'm a little disappointed because I was hoping for more people getting their shipping notifications today. The faster the people before me get theirs, the faster I get mine. I'm so impatient that I almost called 611 today to bug a CSR, but I'm holding strong and will try not to call back until Friday when it's SUPPOSED to ship.

I got my DINC today andddd... dropped it in the mall parking lot within the first three minutes. Niceeeee. Needless to say I added insurance on it within the next five minutes proceeding my first drop.

Yes it was, thanks for asking. It only incurred a slight character building scuff on the bottom corner. A case will hide it.

So far I am very impressed with the phone.

I called CS again today... I was hit by a van while biking Sunday night... just got out of hospital. Sitting around, bed-ridden and bored out of my mind... I called to see?knowing full well it was impossible?if they could fast-track me... I know, selfish, a lapse in character for me, I blame the pain meds...

Anyway... goes without saying they couldn't fast-track it but said that my 6/21 order (AM online, from Chicago) is still on schedule for 7/19 as the latest ship date... I am inclined to believe this will be the story until 7/19 comes and goes with no phone, but here's hoping.

Again... I fully understand how this will be perceived but I am seriously bored here... sitting up to type can't really be tolerated for more than 20-min at a time.

I ordered over the phone. It's not the same as an internet order. There are actually two different departments at CS for the two types of orders. I kept getting the internet orders dept. when I called for my phone order and they had to transfer me.

I ordered on 6/9 over the phone, shipped last Friday (7/2), and is currently at the Lancaster FedEx facility waiting to get put on a truck and delivered to me at work.

tcnemesis... what date were you quoted for shipping when you ordered it over the phone? i am trying to gauge when mine will ship and if itll ship early.. they quoted me 7/12 and I am dying for it to ship by this Friday... fat chance
