That's OK. I was reading a few of the articles you linked to in the Droid X forum and I feel like I got some of that time back. I will not send the bill, so consider that the easiest $3.90 you ever made.

Truthfully, the only thing that was missing in the video that would make it worse was a sobbing cry of ?LEAVE HTC ALONE!?

I'm happy! What a great phone. I love it so far. Battery life is not very good though.

Which Screen?

I ordered my phone on 6/14 and I finally received email conformation that my phone should be delivered to me by 7/13...WOOHOO!

My question is, with all of the talk about HTC switching to the SONY screens, is there any way to tell which type of screen that I have? Have any of you received an Incredible with the new screen? How does it compare to the AMOLED?

He probably pulled it when he noticed the traffic coming in and realized what an idiot he was being. Still would like to have wasted a few minutes on it. Dang.

I asked if there was anything a manager could do for me and was told that no, no one could do anything, but had I heard about the Droid X that was coming out? At that point I just figured to hell with it and I told her thanks but no thanks, and that I thought this whole situation was really ****ty (which she agreed with). I did send an email to Verizon complaining about my experience, though I doubt that will do much good. I am going to call and talk to a store manager too, but again, not holding out for much on that. I am going to try to still get the $100 credit for moving my number to VZ from AT&T, since I had originally ordered the phone from them before the deadline on that in June, so that would be something at least.

I did end up ordering the phone from Amazon ($50 cheaper to boot!) and will have it in my hands on Wednesday. So I guess maybe there is a happy ending to this after all? Or at least an much faster one than had I waited around on Verizon to deliver my phone, lol.

As far as the $100.00 credit for switching from AT&T I would think that would be the very least they could do for you after this awful experience.

First impressions are always important. In this instance this was an Epic Fail on the part of the Verizon representatives that you had the misfortune of dealing with.

Verizon's major selling points are it's network and quality customer service.

IMHO Verizon should be going out of it's way to clean up the the mess created by this whole fiasco.
