So here are the results of the last 50% of the battery. I left it alone at 10:30pm at 20%, 6:30am at 9% it seemed to use more battery when on the lower end of battery amount left. 12 hours idle..(recovering from a cold, lots of sleep)...7% loss vs. 11% loss over 8 hours idle. I got it down to 4% this morning, in the process of taking screencaps it shut down. Didn't get the Display time shot, but its around 5hrs 25min of screen on time. I plugged it into the Turbo charger at that point, turned it on and it took almost exactly 2hrs to get to 100%

Congrats. That's pretty impressive.

My battery dropped 20% overnight, I am considering exchanging mine.

Try using Automateit or tasker. I used the first for a few days and saw 3-5 % drop overnight on average. I started with Automateit but paid for tasked and plan the run that tonight to compare the two.

When I check my battery status, the blue bar under "awake" is solid. Why won't my phone sleep? Everything else is fine, gps only has a few marks. My way WiFi is solid but this is expected as I keep it on. Any suggestions?

So, my Turbo has been draining a little faster than I'd like while idle. So this morning, I disabled the features where the phone keeps the screen on when you are looking straight on (Attentive Display) , and I also disabled the proximity sensor setting for active display. My theory is that those features are causing a bit of idle drain.

I remember with my parents galaxy kno 3, I turned off the feature where she keeps the screen on wall you are looking at it. That seems to help a battery life a little bit with those phones. I'm hoping it will do the same with this one.

Turned all the off:

Can you post a screen shot?

It looks like the wifi signal is the same and thats what is keeping it awake.

I searched in those setting and couldn't find anything that would keep the phone awake just because the wifi is on. I would leave the wifi on with my Razr Maxx HD all the time and never had this problem. Im at exactly 50% batter life now with it just at 8 hours on the battery....only 1 hr and 15 min of that is screen on time.

Still good battery life but not 48hrs and im not a power user. I'll keep tinkering, if you come up with any suggestions let me know.

I've seen this screen on two commercials and a Verizon post on FB...is it legit or just a "screens simulated"? It would cool to see it turbo charge in real time.

Update!! So normal usage thru the day...kids did games, phone calls, a bit of text, but not really anything heavy... I'm not plugging in until it dies....

Here is my run down of usage:
4hrs no WiFi/4g.
8.5hrs just WiFi.
The remainder almost another 8...normal every day stuff with both WiFi and 4g on.

Here are the stats from my second time running from full charge to almost empty. Previous time was posted earlier in the day. Only change was I turned off WiFi for a while to compare to 4G only and a bit heavier use with navigation. 40 hours first time and only 33 this time.

First full charge during my work week with normal use. So far so good. I'd usually get off work with my galaxy s5 and be around 40%. Got off today with around 67%. Enjoying this battery life so far. Also my galaxy s5 would be dead at about 4 hours screen time right around the time I would go to bed around 8pm. Looks like this should last me about 2 full work days.

Alright. Here is droid #3 on second day of use from full charge. I think they gave me back my unit with poor battery when I returned the unit with a bad screen. (They took 10 min to grab the replacement from the back, probably sticking the factory plastic back on my returned device from the day before.

Almost 5 hours of screen time with that ****ty of a signal is pretty good. Also looks like u had something keeping the phone awake a little while the screen was off.

Cool, I appreciate the input, I don't really have anything to compare it to for perspective, just the hype around the battery, etc.

Feel good about today's battery life for the first time. Maybe even a little better than I was getting with my Maxx the last few weeks.

3.5 hours screen time really on 4G. Almost 11pm and still at 15%. With battery like this, I can pretty much use my phone without any micromanaging and not stress about it.

One question though; my signal is almost never green. I'm in NYC. Where do you guys find a good signal anywhere? Anyway to boost signal? I feel like my battery life would improve significantly with better reception.
