.SBF is now available for Droid X! It will take you to .6 and will erase all your data. Use at your own risk.
I take no credit for this. And remember to use it wisely as there is always a possibility of bricking.
Droid X
As I have seen on other forums credit for this goes to Phoxus!
UPDATED 8/21
(Instructions)
Tested and Verified with SBF_Flash Method Unzip First Credit to Phoxus! This is for fixing bricked devices or to restore to factory settings!
Note:
1. You Lose root.
2. Build .604
Instructions (Linux)
1. Unzip the SBF and place VRZ_MB810_1.13.6.2_1FF_01.sbf and sbf_flash in the downloads folder
2. Put the Droid X in bootloader and connect it via usb.
3. Open a terminal window.
4.Change your directory: CD Downloads
5. Then type: ./sbf_flash VRZ_MB810_1.13.6.2_1FF_01.sbf
6. Wait and finish!
Windows Instructions (I have tested this as well as others in this thread. )
1. Download these files: RSD Lite, 32Bit Drivers or 64Bit and the SBF (Zipped)
2. Install the drivers that apply to your Operating System.
3. Move the pst_flash.ini file into the following folder --> Program Files/Motorola/RSDLite
4. Unzip the SBF into a folder.
5. Open RSD Lite and find the UNZIPPED SBF
6. Put your Motorola Droid X in bootloader mode. Now connect the Droid X via usb.
7. Click start and sit back.
Note: One time i encountered the "Ram Downloader" error at 99% finished it failed. I then clicked the show devices button while the phone was still connected and the phone did a long reboot and came out fine. I have also seen this on the OG Droid and had no problems after that so it should be fine on the DX
Also some have seen boot loops. Don't panic. Go into recovery and wipe your data and cache and you should be good to go. Thanks to all that have posted this!
