Does anyone know how to enter Lat/Long into google maps? I can't seem to figure it out.

just type 'lat, long' without the single quotes. make sure you're in google maps and not just google. it wont intelligently sense it. and dont forget the space between the comma and the long or it wont work.

Oh yeah I bet we see our first set of GPS coordinates today. Maybe even a couple!!

Anyone else read that to mean that you cannot find the certs before the final GPS location tweet? If the location is tweeted when it is hidden, then they aren't just out there waiting to be found. I could see why they would want to do it that way (more control of when it is found, chance to take pictures/video for promo, etc) but still seems rather lame. Especially considering they are just now stating that.

Yep thats how I read it too. There wont be anything there until the GPS is posted.

This is exactly what they are talking about methinks. So you can't find one just yet. (Feel bad for all those people who went searching the Mall or America lol)

That is what I read too. I also thought it was interesting to read that if the certificate isn't found in 4 hours, they will just give it to an unsuspecting person who just happens to walk by.

I agree that it makes it more of a race then a hunt. Less then ideal, but still fun. Way better then "submit your email or tell us why you want a droid and we'll pick the ones we like"

I agree that it makes it more of a race then a hunt. Less then ideal, but still fun. Way better then "submit your email or tell us why you want a droid and we'll pick the ones we like"

The only thing holding out hope for redemption is the chance that they will drop the GPS coordinates at some set time so that (if you put the clues together) you can show up before they do and be the defacto winner, or at least have a significant head start in the 'race'...

Lame or not. They are giving away 21 certificates for a Droid X. If one is near me, I'm sure as heck going to try to get one.

If I get one.... Not lame at all. If I don't. Very Lame!!!
