just looked at the tracking info. says two day instead of the overnight they promised every time i talked to them. oh well. i guess it will be the 31st after all but sometimes with fedex you get lucky. mine is coming from memphis.

Man! My replacement was ordered on 8/14 and I'm in Southgate, MI. I still haven't received a shipping notice.

Finally!!! I guess ranting about it on forums + calling CS and rating them a 3 on the satisfaction survey due to misinformation helped!! hahaha

So... heres the story:

08/15 - In store early smartphone upgrade
08/26 - call CS to whine
08/27 - email saying phone has shipped, est delivery: 8/31
ONTARIO, CA (which is 35 miles east of me... if only I could pick it up...)

Mine also says 2day shipping, ...was told overnight in the store. Hmmm!!!!

Anyway... So Tuesday I shall judge whether or not the wait was worth it...

I just noticed that the Verizon site has said "Shipping 9/10" for more than 24 hours. I wonder if they forgot to change it or if the wait times are going to start shrinking.

Well, my package "Left FedEx origin facility" at 2:00pm PST. Where does it go from here? It says "In transit"... and I know I shoulnd't be too hopeful, but I only live like 30 minutes away from the origin facility.... IN THEORY they could get it to me tonight by 7pm.... BUUUT it's most likely sitting in a truck over the weekend.

I get the same thing EVERY time I order something, they say overnight but really mean 2 day

Just got my shipping notification, and like most people today it will arrive on Tuesday 8/31 with 2 day FEDEX shipping. Looks like they weren't kidding with the receiving on 8/31 date.

My exchange (for my Droid 2) was placed 8/14 and I still havent heard a thing. Im in St. Joseph, MI

I would just check your e-mail and not even bother checking the website with your order number. I've gotten my shipping notification but when I put my order number in it still tells me that due to high volume my Droid X won't be shipped until 8/31.

This one has some reception/3g connectivity issues, doesn't play well with my bluetooth, and zaps me every now and then which leads me to believe that it is messed up electrically. This will be my 2nd replacement because my original froze up on me a ton. Im hoping this one will be from a new batch and be just fine. Even with the issues I've had Im chalking up to a run of bad luck and truly love this phone.

what order no. are you using and how did you order? there's longer order number and a shorter one. the shorter one won't work on the website. i got the same message when i tried it. the longer one was the one they first gave me when i ordered online. also called a reference no.

I thought I would share that the Verizon status page actually moved my estimated ship date several days closer. Original order date was 8/19 with an estimate ship date of 9/8 I believe. This has been moved to 9/3 now. Not much of an improvement, but interesting nonetheless. Still hoping it appears sooner.
