exactly what i was talking about. i got that 7 number thing from one cs rep who acted like it was what i should use. it never worked, although it is shown on my shipping notification along with the 10 number order info

I thought I would share that the Verizon status page actually moved my estimated ship date several days closer. Original order date was 8/19 with an estimate ship date of 9/8 I believe. This has been moved to 9/3 now. Not much of an improvement, but interesting nonetheless. Still hoping it appears sooner.

That's awesome... however mine has not changed...

im seriously losing sleep over this damn phone i know its earlie for me to be complaining i ordered on the 25th but iv been excited for this phone since it came out an couldent afford it tell the 25th ugh verizon i got two hairy things you can suck on right now

did i have to have that visual first thing in the morning?! i feel your pain. if it feels any better, i think almost everyone is getting shipment a few days short of the drop dead date. i was sure mine wouldn't ship til then, but it's on it's way.

This one has some reception/3g connectivity issues, doesn't play well with my bluetooth, and zaps me every now and then which leads me to believe that it is messed up electrically. This will be my 2nd replacement because my original froze up on me a ton. Im hoping this one will be from a new batch and be just fine. Even with the issues I've had Im chalking up to a run of bad luck and truly love this phone.

I really do. LOL Its not awful. The best way I can describe it is shaking hands with someone that has one of those prank buzzers. Does that make sense?

Wow, I never would have expected to hear that a cell phone would be capable of that.

Without getting too specific, do you live in an area with very low humidity? Is there a point on the DX that seems to emit the zapping?

just really pisses me off i lost my last phone at work an went to get a new phone cuz i was up for my ne2 so i was like ok i want the droid the main reason im pissed is becuz they couldent give me a cheap *** dinky phone until the droid came an i think i have droid x sleep apnia i try to sleep an start thinking about all the **** i can do with it an how it can help me with work an a ton of other things an end up tell like 7 in the morning

Ordered mine on the 20th, just got the shipping confirmation email this morning. Should be at my house on the 1st, I'm excited! No more Droid 2 for me.

can i ask seriously whats so bad about the droid 2 your luckier then most who are switching from there bb storm or there storm two or later bbs me lol dont laugh but im switching from the alias 2 i had the bb storm an storm 2 lost my job an no longer could afford the data plan but now i can

I switched from Sprint to Verizon, I wanted to get the Droid X but there wasn't any instock so they gave me a Droid 2 instead. The guy at the store talked to someone on CS and said they could order me a Droid X and when it came in that I would just return the Droid 2. Better than waiting a few weeks with no phone if you ask me. Also it wouldn't have made a difference to me if they gave me a BB Curve or something instead of the Droid 2.

I'm in North Carolina and it's shipping from Memphis TN, so I seriously doubt an early arrival. Oh well, at least I know when my patience can end....I think that's gonna be a late night for me!
