Wow, I never would have expected to hear that a cell phone would be capable of that.

Without getting too specific, do you live in an area with very low humidity? Is there a point on the DX that seems to emit the zapping?

It comes from right around where the camera button is. At first I thought I was nuts and imagining things but it happens about once a day. I'm in the Detroit area so our weather is mixed but my first x never did this.

I dont understand why people who ordered weeks ago are still waiting while people who order just last week have shipping confirmations. That's kinda of bull if you ask me. I would be very angry.

Well, it just doesn't do any good. The poor girl that broke the news to me on the phone (that I really didn't have an order for 2.5 weeks) did everything she could including making half a dozen calls to the stores in town including Best Buy, Target and Walmart.... She said there was no way to speed up the new order or she would try. Managers can't really help either. So.... I wait. I could go get a phone I don't want... but would rather just wait. Hopefully I'll get it before next weekend. The weekends are the worst time to wait especially if you are home most of the weekend.
