Title says it all. I installed the GB update today, and now my phone won't reboot. It gets stuck on the motorola logo. I've tried holding down home+power, but the exclamation point doesn't appear, the phone just keeps restarting. I did root my phone and forgot to unroot before installing the update. I've been people on these forums claim they didn't unroot and the update went fine, though.

my brother used z4root to root his phone months ago and went into his settings to pull the update, since that time around 12pm est he has had nothing but problems....so i too am looking for a solution

Ur holding both down the entire time?

Might have changed to power + volume (down, up, both) or power + camera button... ill check on my pops' x when he gets home if u don't find it by then. Kinda remember hearing something changing with it

Yeah, I was holding both down at the same time. The phone could just keep restarting itself over and over as long as the home button was held down.

I tried doing power + both volume buttons, and I got to Bootloader. This is what the screen says:

"Bootloader
30.04

Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB"

Fixed it. I flashed it to 2.3.340 and it booted up fine. Literally held my breath the entire time it booted... hahaha.

How do I do this? I am stuck on that bootloader screen as well. I had been rooted a few months ago but I thought I had completely returned to stock. I am not familiar with all the terminology and I have a mac. What do I have to do to get my phone back to normal?
