DroidX Custom ROM

I've tried many and keep getting the itch to reinstall a custom rom again, but I just keep coming back to stock. I use LPP because of speed and customization it allows/widgets, dock, plus the ability to hide the bloatware and I use Titanium B/U so I can freeze the bloatware. Just as fast as any custom rom I've tried.
I've come from the OG Droid and the Droid Inc. and was constantly flashing different roms, but those don't have locked bootloaders and the options for roms was so much more. All the roms for the Droid X seem mostly the same and that is what annoys me. I just got my X about a month ago and I'm bored with it and looking to change services simply so I can get an HTC Evo/best of both worlds...same size plust more rom options.

rubiX Blurry 1.8 for those who don't like to see straight... - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

is the most current blur.
it's built on the same framework as focused 1.97.

I'm not sure why the version numbers don't match but I can assume that drod builds them as separate roms.

Thanks, I had that version but the difference in numbers made me believe this was a old build, that is weird the version number difference. Heres another question, is there a nice black theme that does not change roms stock animation because all I tried changed the transition animation also do not put device in a boot loop, every theme I have tried for Rubix has placed the device in a boot loop.

Another thing to consider....oddly enough, any given ROM might act somewhat differently, from one DX to another, it seems. For this reason, which ROM is the best can vary from one DX to the next.

Ok I can not seem to find any working themes for Rubix 1.8 Blur rom, all themes that I have tried has placed my device into a boot loop, I have SBF twice after installing roms that reported to work, the rom runs fine but the issue happens everytime I load a rom theme the device either bootloop or apps crash after boot up.

Do anyone by chance have a link for a black theme simular to Black.Juice.Blue.Rubix theme?

Looks like I got turned, I decided to try Liberty 1.5 and I am impressed in the speed, and after loading K9 and Handcent I am starting to get over Blur.

Not usually the one to bring back up old post, but I have to recant my last post.

Liberty does have an distinct advantage opening and executing applications over Apex. If only it could support HDMI it would be nearly perfect.
