dxTop issue

Hi Everyone,

I am quite new to the Android world and recently purchased the Motorola Droid. I absolutely love the phone. I see that everyone is changing their home screens, adding more home screens, etc. A friend told me to download dxTop and I did, but I had issues with it. It kept toggling between screens by itself. Any advice or step by step procedures that someone can provide will be greatly appreciated. I searched around the forums for this type of information, but everything seemed very vague. If I am missing something, I apologize in advance.

What exactly are you looking for step by step instructions to do? If it's to fix the issue you said you were having, try uninstalling the app and put it back on your phone. I've never seen that behavior before.

dxTop does have a different setup for navigating the screens. At first, I was having a problem b/c I didnt understand how it was setup. It is a diamond setup. You can always swipe down for the home screen, up for the lower screen and left / right for the other screens. It really throws you at first.

Not sure if this helps but it may explain things for you.

FWIW, I used dxTop for a bit and finally uninstalled because of lag. I am using the stock home and loving the speed of the droid. I would recommend going back to the stock home until you have used the Droid for awhile and gotten used to the stock features ....
