waiting as well, for Cyanogen Mod to do their magic. Then we truly rock. Maybe not flagship quality but definitely enough to get us through the contract until Galaxy Nexus is available. Wheee!

I updated, but now its stuck on the galaxy s image, and will show sprint image, then back to galaxy s image. :(

I'm new to this, did exactly as the instructions said. I tried installing GB again and now it says

E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
installation aborted.

What should i do?

I don't want to lose my data either.....

Strange... We do have confirmed success of this exact method over at XDA where the link was first provided...

Have you tried pulling your battery and rebooting again ?

Otherwise Odin to the rescue!

Sorry this is happening.. This could very well be the reason Sprint is doing a slow roll out on the first day incase of problems....

Installed from update.zip. It takes quite a while for the initial bootup. But it runs nice and smooth so far. I'll have to keep an eye out for the old lingering issues from the leaks of random reboots, and low signal area crashes, poor gps signal, and wifi issues.

i gotta charge my phone first i did tried pulling the battery and rebooting but no luck. like you said odin to the rescue

Those getting the boot loop problem...

Boot into stock recovery (Vol Down+Camera+Power) and do a full system reset/wipe. Then reboot.

Seems to have resolved the problem.

Please report back with results so we can post this as confirmed...

Yes... I haven't gotten a solid hammered out root method yet.. There is a few that have done it already over at XDA... Following some threads over there trying to get a solid answer.
