Yes... I haven't gotten a solid hammered out root method yet.. There is a few that have done it already over at XDA... Following some threads over there trying to get a solid answer.

No problem...Awesome, thanks Paul. I won't be able to do this until later tonight at home so I'm doing all the leg work now.
First - THANKS everyone for your hard work (and continued support)!
Anyone have a good MD5 or other checksum for the download? What is the a5ff039a0c97 on the front of the filename from Google's servers? Too short for MD5...
????
i did do that. it just starts the phone normally,
Okay...
Your phone is shut off...
Press and Hold VOLUME DOWN+CAMERA, while holding those press POWER and continue to
hold all three buttons for a few seconds.. Should boot into stock recovery.. Blue screen if I remember correctly...
Edit: You can normally do all three buttons together once you get the hang of it, but follow my method above...
You navigate the menu using Volume up/down and make selections with HOME button on your capactive buttons on the bottom of screen.
thanks for your help. i get erorr that sys:
" E: failed to open/sdcard/update.zip (no such file or directory) E: signature verification failed. installation aborted "
should i haved extracted file once i downloaded?
No. But it does need to be renamed update.zip
If you have known extensions hidden in windows, and it still says .zip, it's probably actually named update.zip.zip which won't work for ya.
i downloaded directly from phone, my laptop broke about2 months ago. i use phone and tablet only. i did rename to update.zip
Did you move it to the root of your SD card, or leave it in the download folder?
