Email Notifications not Pushing

Rooted, and since flashing Uncommon Sense v0.8, my HTC Mail notifications have stopped pushing through. As in, nothing appears in my status bar at the top, or in the green bubble on the Mail icon. Then, when I enter the Mail application, suddenly my phone begins to refresh, and I am bombarded by emails.

'Mobile data always-on' is enabled, and I just tried clearing the cache/data and reinstalling my accounts, and it doesn't seem to have helped at all.

Any thoughts?

I believe its a problem with the ROM. I was having the same problem when I installed uncommon sense. Once I changed to something else everything worked fine. A few other users have also mentioned that same problem
