I hope someone can help me because I'm very frustrated over this..About 2 weeks ago, I began to get Error messages when trying to print from my phone..I've never had a problem before..I've uninstalled and re-installed the Apps..no change..I've called Epson Tech Support..no help..Printer makes noise as if it wants to load sheet of paper but then stops..Error message comes up saying "Epson iPrint" or "Epson Print Enabler stopped working"..This is all new to me..I have things that need to be printed out and I can't figure out what's wrong..Any help will be greatly appreciated..

Try going into your S3's Settings >> More >> Application manager and for any Epson app you have installed, tap to open it, tap the 'Force stop' button and then the 'Clear data' button. The 'Clear data' button wipes that app's configuration and user settings, along with its cache. It essentially returns the app back to its originally installed state, so you also need to reconfigure the settings and pair the app back up to your Epson printer, going through the same process you did when you originally set it up.
Always keep in mind that uninstalling an app does NOT always wipe all of it's data from your phone. For most apps you can uninstall it and that will delete the app itself, but its settings and configuration data will remain on your phone -- if you want to completely remove an app, be sure to 'Clear data' before tapping the 'Uninstall' button.
If the above doesn't fix anything, I'm also wondering what kind of home network you're using, where the problem could be a connectivity issue. What kind of wireless router do you have, is it a carrier-supplied cable or DSL modem/router (combined in one device) or do you have your own, separate wireless router?

I've had had similar issues recently and found two solutions, so I'm going to give you some steps.

Check your printer is compatible with the app:

Epson Print Enabler Frequently Asked Questions

If it is compatible, or indeed if it isn't try using Epson I Print instead.

(Note you must allow it location permission to work.)

When you've got something you want to print, tap share, share with Epson I Print, then print from within the app.

Google cloud print is another option.

Download the app, then look at whether you need the short or slightly less short way to connect your printer:

I'm connected to wi-fi with my Comcast cable router set-up..I'm just having a difficult time comprehending why I never experienced any problems printing from this phone..never! One day I go to print something as I normally would and I have problems..I changed nothing, added nothing as far as any apps nor did I delete anything..It really boggles my mind...

Thank you also to Kimmy9876....Under the "Print Enabler Asked Questions," my specific printer (Epson Stylus NX420) is not listed but my phone (Galaxy S3) states 4.4.2 for Operating System, which is listed as compatible..I'm all confused, not due to lack of intelligence but by being tech illiterate...As for using Epson IPrint, I have tried that already..My printer is not listed as Cloud Print ready so I guess that's out..So basically, I'm going to do what smvim suggested and clear out any Epson apps...then I'm going to re-install IPrint again but not Enabler..I'm not sure if there's another app along with that which needs to be installed also but I'll begin with the IPrint and see what that gets me..Thanks for the help..I'll be back to update my results..

Okay, I'm back..I followed the instructions from smvim and then re-installed Epson IPrint only..Unfortunately, when I chose to print with IPrint, I received the same message: Epson IPrint has stopped working..I hate to give up on this but I don't know what else to do..I'm so frustrated..This makes no sense to me..

Another common problem could be related to your Epson printer, it might not even be an issue with your mobile device or the apps themselves. Do you have a computer or laptop that you use with your printer that you can check it's still working OK. Also most printers have some kind of diagnostic, test page you can print out from its set up menu. The test page might also indicate a problem. What model Epson printer do you have?

I have an Epson Stylus NX 420..The printer actually works fine..Test page printed out with no problem..Status says Available..It's weird because I'll tap to try to print something and the printer will make the usual noise that it does when feeding a sheet of paper but it stops before the paper feeds..that's when I get the error message that the app has stopped working..

Is your Epson printer connected to your computer (and you're using printer sharing to connect it indirectly to your home network), or is it connected directly to your home network (via WiFi)?
If the former, you might want to re-think about Google Cloud Print. Whether your model is or is not fully supported as a stand-alone unit, using Cloud Print and printer sharing on any computer should allow you to print to it. If you can get those Epson apps to work again I'd stick with that method but Cloud Print is an option.

If the latter, since your printer is apparently OK I have to wonder if maybe there's some kind of home networking issue going on. Just to confirm, try installing this network scanning app, Fing, from the Play Store:
https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...om.overlook.android.fing&hl=en&token=Vb-hB4g1
Do a basic scan and among whichever devices are connected to your home network should be your S3 and your Epson printer. If yes, I'd fall back to either getting the Epson app working again or Cloud Print. If no, that's an indicator there is a problem. If you've been having any other kind of issues with your S3 and your home WiFi, the first thing to try is just rebooting your phone if you haven't done it in a while. If things are still problematic, try going into Settings >> Wi-Fi, tap on the Wi-Fi network name of your home network, tap the 'Forget' button, and then re-connect your S3 to your home network again by re-entering your SSID (the network name) and password. If you haven't been having any problems with your S3, it might be just a printer glitch. Do a reset on your Epson and then re-connect it to your home WiFi through its setup menu.

Thank you..My printer is connected directly to Wi-Fi..I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean by doing a rest on my Epson..I don't know exactly how to do that actually..

If it helps, I had the exact same error with my Epson printer/app, but I was able to solve it.

Re Google Cloud Print: My printer was not cloud ready either, but I was able to set it up using the Classic instructions, which are on the link I gave. It was super quick and easy. You will also need to download the Cloud Print app to your device.

Printer does need to be connected to a PC or Laptop for Classic to work, mine is via Wi Fi and that was enough for a successful set up.

Epson: If your printer is not listed as compatible with Enabler, that is likely a factor in it failing. You need the Printer and OS to both be compatible for it to work.

Un install that app, download Epson I Print, being SURE to give it location permission, and try again. When it uses a WI FI direct connection to print, as your set up does, it won't work without that permission.

If you open the app info, (Settings, Apps, Epson I Print, Permissions) you will be able to see what permissions it has, and change them if necessary.

I believe the location requirement was added with the last update, which may explain why you haven't been able to print recently.
