Essential Order and Shipping Thread

I ordered mine on August 16th. Got the email that I should finalize my order and give them CC info. I did it immediately and then.......nothing. I do not know why, but I have a vague feeling that they will not ship in that 7 day period. Something just does not feel right. But I cannot explain it logically.

True, that's a good point. I was really just being facetious because it would be a very small thread right now.

Just got a email from affirm. Says essential processed my order. This is different then from my original email from affirm when I purchased the phone Wednesday. Looks like movement.

I've also received an email from affirm that essential has processed my order and confirmation as well. Will update when tracking has been provided.

Affirm emailed me as well. They provided a payment calender and are using today as the start date. Hopefully tracking info comes later today. Really wish I could have paid for 1 day shipping.

I got the Affirm email as well. Really hoping to get the shipping email today with delivery by Thursday!

I ordered via Sprint telesales on August 17th. Some portions of Sprint.com say it will ship by 8/28 others say by 8/31. Can't wait!

Regarding shipping, this is the response I got from Essential:

Hi,

Thank you for response. The Essential Phones released last Wednesday, orders will start shipping from tomorrow. Hang tight, your device is on your way!

Why not order direct from Essential? They removed the reservation option and opened up sales a day or two ago. Unless you live in California, it's $699 shipped and no tax. I would assume it will ship sooner than Best Buy or Amazon. If not then you still save around $50.

Just FYI the return policy at Best Buy for all phones is 14 days.

Keep in mind that most of your $75 gets burnt up in tax since the phone is $699 plus tax* through Best Buy. But, you need to spend the card anyway, so I understand.

*except states/counties that don't collect sales tax, of course
