Yeah true that's the best part about Amazon. Customer always first unlike some other company we are dealing with.At least Amazon would communicate that with their customers quickly and cancellation can be just a click away.
If we don't assume the hacker himself was small, any number of reasons open up as to why they were hacked. Eliminating competition is at the top of the list.Logically speaking why does a hacker go against such a small target?
Honestly, no company is worried about Essential. At least not Apple and SamsungIf we don't assume the hacker himself was small, any number of reasons open up as to why they were hacked. Eliminating competition is at the top of the list.
I think they are starting to copy paste what's discussed in Reddit, forums etc. AC has an article this morning.Unfortunately it seems the tech blogs and websites don't even care to cover this, which is odd because it's a pretty cataclysmic thing that is taking place.
Don't forget Amazon is a major investor to Essential and would have supply chain ppreference. Amazon is well respected and doesn't want their name sullied. If anything I bet they DO ship on time!Highly doubt, you are assuming essential will provide the stock to Amazon in time to fulfill the orders. Given how difficult it's for them to manufacture and get the phones out, I'll be surprised to see if they can deliver that many phones for Amazon so that Amazon can fulfill their orders. My guess is Amazon will probably email customers on September 1st to say orders will be delayed. If you check the Amazon order it'll say delivery date pending. Essential probably said Amazon we will deliver stock before September 1st but if I have to bet I'll say that may be delayed.
Has anyone had any luck getting in touch with customer support? I have been trying to get a hold of someone about my order for the last three days and I haven't received a single reply...
To those doing the BBB route understand they are not the influential agency you hope. Companies can pay them to be rated favorably. The state Attorneys General office is who you want to file a complaint with.
After reading the discussion on the camera chosen for this phone and that it's 2 years old where no amount of software upgrades will improve it, I decided to give up on this phone. They are using a 2 year old camera Sony IMX258 which will never live up to the Pixel ,HTCU11 and S8 results and now Note 8 which have better sensors with OIS or EIS and no amount of software updates will improve it. We were duped by Essential marketing on their camera specs especially for a premium phone. This camera will be no better than OPP 5.
Go HTC U11 thread, bunch of us has issues with HTC return. 30 days and counting nothing happened. Guess what logged BBB complaint they contacted HTC, got a call from higher up from HTC saying they will take care and after few days return and refund was processed. To those doing the BBB route understand they are not the influential agency you hope. True but don't hype and market as such. Not good biz practiceb and will bite them.Thankfully for me I'm in the market for a phone, not a camera.
Awesome! Essential handled this whole thing horribly. This is reason MANY businesses go belly up.Just got off the phone with Capital One. Disputed the charge. The girl I talked to said this will be a no brainer due to the time frame and their refusal to answer my emails or return my calls. They are many many days late on shipping to me so... I am done.
