I asked cs today and they said 7 days from today

It will be interesting to see where they ship from and if we actually get a tracking number.

I'm sure we will. Most likely will be UPS or FedEx. Hope its UPS so i can get mine early.

Got the Affirm email last night. That gives me a little hope. I want to have that shipping email when I wake up in the morning.

We won't know until it actually ships whether if they decide to ship directly from China or from a warehouse somewhere in the US. Even if it ships from China it should come in 2 to 3 days so I'm not worried.
Hopefully they can ship today and there is a slight chance we can get on Friday, if not mostly likely Monday delivery.

Still no affirm email or tracking information. Today is Day 7, if it does not ship as expected and arrive by Friday I am going to be a little disappointed. Don't say "It will ship within 7 days" if you can not make that happen. No excuses about being a new company, this is not Andy's first Rodeo and it also it not a start up like One Plus. It is only 6:50 on the West coast so I am giving it time. Maybe as the Note 8 is being unveiled I can find an additional 400 dollars and make a switch.

Am I the only one that is frustrated with the verbiage and lack of commitment. The order page said "ships within 7 days", maybe my phone has shipped and they have not updated the tracking info or sent me an email. Today is day 7. Why say "Within" if you cannot hit that date!!!

Maybe as the Note 8 is being unveiled I can find an additional 400 dollars and make a switch.

Looks like about $929 for the Note 8 unlocked. Add a chunk for tax if applicable. You'd be in the +$230-325 range if you decide to switch.

Too soon to say. Most California businesses don't get started until 10AM PST or 1PM EST. Tracking numbers usually don't hit carriers until the EoD (end-of-day) batches are run, typically between 5PM and 8PM. If anything ships today, we might not get a status update until tonight.

Thanks @modifier after watching the Note 8 I am not interested. I am just without a good phone (using a Droid Turbo) at the moment and feel like we have been waiting forever, so when they took my money and gave a date I am holding them to it. I am working from home Friday and I would really like to get the phone on that day....

Yes it sucks that it hasn't shipped yet but crying about it here won't solve anything. It is what it is. I'm waiting too and would have loved to have had the phone with me to show my NYC friends (arrived last night) but oh well. Not to mention it stinks carrying this stupid gigantic iPhone 6S+ around. But it is what it is.

@ChuckG73 Similar boat here. My current phone is stuck on Android 4.3 and no longer compatible with most of my business and banking apps. It's been a long wait but hopefully worth it.
