I disagree, have you seen this phone, held it in your hands? I have a Galaxy S7. I wanted this phone for specific reasons. Stock android, quality materials, quality build. Im using the camera right now, I like it.

Mine was slated to arrive by 10:30 AM today according to FedEx, but it didn't leave INDIANAPOLIS, IN until 8:00, so I found that suspect. I ran out to grab an auto part and refreshing the Fedex page, the 10:30 time has been removed. It is now just supposed to arrive at some point today it seems.

On another note, those pictures look pretty good. I'm upgrading from a Nexus 5, so this camera should be a definitive upgrade. If I want to take proper pictures, I have an 80D for that.

10:30 today did not happen, FedEx site took away the 8/31/17 by 10:30, now just shows 8/31/17. So hopefully it will be here today. Tracking shows departed Indy and nothing else.

Will be holding it in few hours, agree on everything but definitely not digging the pictures what I have seen till now. I also bought the phone because of build quality, stock software etc and glad you think the camera works for you. Everyone's expectation is different so can't argue if you like the pics which is the important part.
For me this will not be the main camera phone so I'm ok with it for now and may be they will improve greatly in future updates.

I am glad people are receiving their products. I placed my order on 8/16 and have to to receive any shipping. I have asked them to cancel my order, of course they have not responded. I have filed a chargeback with American Express, and I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I wish to have nothing to do with this company.

I'm sure it's a nice device, and I hope you all enjoy it.

Also, people in XDA reporting that using the modded Google camera apk gives much better results. Probably try that as well.

They are going to just refund you to the original method you paid and still send the phone. But yeah how long it'll take is anyone's guess.

I sure hope so. What sucks is that when my shipping info first populated it said I would get it tomorrow, then when it refreshed it said it had missed the cutoff time and now is going to be delivered on the 6th.

The last time I think I got this hyped for an android phone was the Note 3, and that disappointed me after a couple of months because of how laggy it got. Last phone I got that I was hyped up for and was satisfied was the iPhone 4.

Well of course, after a BBB filing yesterday and an AMEX chargeback submitted this morning, I finally got a tracking number with delivery for next Thursday. Looks like a new batch left China the evening of 8/31 China time. I guess by rights I need to cancel the chargeback, but I'm still not happy about the situation.

Mine fell off the conveyor in Oakland, so I feel your pain. Supposed to have been delivered 23 minutes ago, but hasn't moved since 5am.

Unreal, for three days I have been telling them to cancel. No response,. I charged them back via my bank.

And now I just received a shipping notice. It's in Shenzen. Delivery estimate is Thursday of Next Week! That is not 2 day delivery. That is 7 day delivery.

I will simply refuse the shipment if Essential will not respond to my emails.
