Essential Order and Shipping Thread

have they taken their money out of your account like for good not just a pre-authorization cuz that's what they did with me and then they told me on Friday I should have my shipping email by Tuesday because of the holiday
 
It appears as though I should have just chosen a different phone at this point. I ordered the phone at 6:00 AM on the 16th, was charged on the 22nd, and here I sit on Sept 5th with no phone and a FedEx status of "No scheduled delivery date available at this time.". Granted, the last leg of it's journey is tied to the carrier and I live in Houston, so it is out of their control. However, had they shipped it when they were supposed to, all this mess would have been avoided. UPS hasn't had any issue getting my stuff to me over the past week.

Frustrating to say the least. Might be better served to get a different handset and just shoot this one back when/if it arrives.
 
Mine just arrived this morning. I won't be keeping it. I will return it (as I explained earlier). Unless someone here wants to buy it off me.
 
These guys are cracking me up. Friday they fully pushed through the charges to my form of payment. Three full days after my fifth unanswered email canceling the order.

You mean they actually reply to you? I've sent 8 emails and no reply.

We also ordered one for my son. They replied to his first email (that didn't have an order number in it). When he replied, he mentioned my order numbers, also and cc'd me. No response since.
 
I'm going to ride this out. I'm perfectly protected with the method of payment I used and may decide to blog a little story as to how to: treat your customers, address major supply chain issues, manage identity and security concerns, grow a successful business that investors are rewarded by being a part of.

In said story, names will not be changed to protect the incompetent.

Has anyone that ordered from Sprint, receiving shipping emails? I noticed on another forum that some people were, so I was curious how many people have been that fortunate.
 
Having come to the conclusion that this experience is nothing more than pure entertainment at this point.
After a response to my fifth email attempting to cancel my order.. But wait, there's more. Look closely. Once you catch the shipping shenanigans, then realize this is not the phone but the camera..camera-shipping.jpg

Still no phone.

No luck here I ordered from Sprint 10 a.m. on the 17th yet on another forum im in an email is posted showing shipping information for someone who purchased from Sprint a week later.😡
 
Anyone else notice it's no longer available on Amazon? I ordered the phone in mid august, then got an email on the 29th saying Amazon had an issue so cancelled my order. Re ordered and was then told the release date had moved to the 8th. And now the day before it should be released it's not even showing on the site. I don't mind waiting but the way they've handled the release of this phone is frustrating. Haven't received any email yet but assuming it's been delayed further. Has anyone had an email who ordered through Amazon?
