Ethernet

What are the Ethernet and Ethernet Settings for in Settings > Wireless & network settings?

They both are greyed-out and I can't do anything with them.

i don't think those are supposed to be there. our phone doesn't have an ethernet.

my evo doesn't have anything ethernet related.

I am under the assumption that those settings are for when the phone is in the lapdock. I'm not totally certain though since I don't have a lapdock myself.

What do they do when it's in the lapdock? I took the Bionic and lapdock back to get the RAZR, but the lapdock doesn't have an Ethernet port...

I believe you could use a USB ethernet accessory and run the dock (phone) on your network via CAT5
