After 10 rounds with Sprint and a couple of rounds with HTC, they finally admitted that the EVO 3d WILL NOT import .vcf or .csv files into your phones contact list. If attempted, you will get the error that the file type you are accessing is not a supported file type. I really wish that I would have known this before I purchased the phone. My past Droid X did this seamlessly. The only way to do this is through the HTC Sync and it will sync all contacts rather than a single as it is needed.

ummm. you can just import it to gmail then sync it with your phone.. Thats what i did a year ago. It will not be perfect, and you might have to edit some fields, but you can do that from a pc and its easier and faster.

While the method you described does work, should you be on a company laptop which does not allow any access to your gmail account, it is rather difficult to do. In some ways, I do miss my Droid X which accomplishes this perfectly. I would guess that I will just have to take the good with the bad. Otherwise, the 3d is working perfectly.

Computer at home will do. Or is the account an exchange?

Simple, export the list, email to your gmail account. Download it from gmail and then import it. Or upload it to a drop box account assuming its not filtered. I would also change the name of the file to something like .txt so whatever proxy and security your company has could possibly be bypassed. Thats just what I have had to do i n the past.
