Just to clear the air on an earlier post, lets not sling mud at Sprint for the non removable battery. That was HTC's design.
I'm not sure if the trend of the non removable battery is going to hit as well as they expect.
1. The 3rd party companies that produce aftermarket batteries and extended batteries I'm sure are voicing their opinions on this, as it will hurt many businesses that have surrounded themselves around this market of selling replacement batteries.
2. Your still going to have people that no matter how much battery life they squeeze out of them with better dual & quad core processors and better LTE power management that are going to still not be happy and beg for a removable battery.
I think OEMs would like to see this changeover happen eventually but its not something that is going to happen overnight. Its going to take time to transition the public to accepting the change which is going to take time and always have voice of opposition.
