Intermittent push issue persists.
I have Samsung Galaxy S3 Sprint running 4.1.2 (original from sprint) connected to an Exchange 2003 server.
I checked the sync schedules and these are set to always push, also adjusted the peak push times to no avail. I contacted Sprint support this afternoon and they sent a profile update to the phone for kicks, there was no change. As a test I added another Exchange account but this was Exchange 2007 and emails started pushing immediately again. I sent a test message to both accounts and they would both immediately alert of new messages. As soon as I removed the Exchange 2007 account push email stopped working again for the Exchange 2003 account. So it seems 4.1.2 update broke something with native Email/Exchange 2003 as Touchdown pushes email consistently.
As a test I also setup an iPhone running the latest IOS and configured it to sync with same Exchange 2003 server with no issues. Emails were pushed without delays or need to refresh.
Any other thoughts? I want to avoid having to pay for Touchdown, it's a pain since I've used GS3 in the past connected to Exchange 2007 and 2010 with no issues.
Thanks,
Marlon
