Excited for S10 but nervous to leave iMessage

Honestly, if iMessages is one of your main apps on your iPhone, DO NOT switch to an android phone. Period.

Android doesn’t have anything like it. iMessages is simply amazing, no doubt about it and 99% of everyone I know who tried out an Android phone ended up returning it after a few days because of iMessages.

If you live in Europe, that will very likely be a non-issue though. With a market-share between 9 and 30% in most European countries for iphones, iMessages isn’t very important here. Almost everyone uses WhatsApp and / or Snapchat anyway.

If you seriously love iMessage that much, then chances are you won’t like the Google alternative, however good it might be. Being someone who has used both iMessage and Google Messages for a long time, I simply cannot say one is better than the other. They’re both good messaging apps. Seems like everyone you know who tried an Android phone is a big iMessage fan ._.

In Europe, everyone simply has WhatsApp which makes things like ‘iMessage club mentality’ non-existent.
