And that's usually determined by the majority opinion of the IT people in that department, bureau, whatever. (All their IT is - even to the point that some develop their websites the normal way, some insist on Cold Fusion only, some won't even let a designer see any code, etc.) I guess that one of the questions you have to ask in an interview for a government job these days (I left government involvement in 78) is "what type of phone does this office use?"My point is that even within the US Federal Government, each branch and department manages its own networks and communications.
The highest office you can think of. I didn't mention Washington DC because it was the mayor's office. Anyway the continuing discussion here it's almost irrelevant because the OP disappeared and regardless of which device an agency issues or allows on to their network, it should be secured.Which government? Federal? State? Local (city/county)?
If federal, which branch? Executive? Legislative, Judicial?
If executive, which agency? Department of State, Department of Defense, etc?

You're correct....entertaining at a minimum. One of the most entertaining threads I've read for a while, gave me the giggles.
I was under the impression that devices in those situations were issued by the establishment, or perhaps monies so tight for them that they allow certain personal Android devices to be used. Either way , a flawed system.
You're correct....entertaining at a minimum.
I've said that twice but they keep sucking me back in.....just like you did.....lolOP is not even replying and you guys are debating...

Every 24 hours or so it requires the basic lock password/pattern/pin...
